Beauford H. Jester Center East, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 9-19-02 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Theft: A blue 21-speed Specialized mountain bicycle was stolen from the bike racks located on the westside of the building after being secured with a self-locking cable lock. Loss value: $200.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 9-19-02 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The passenger's side window of a blue Ford truck was discovered broken out and an AM/FM stereo was stolen from the vehicle. The dashboard was broken in half in order for the radio to be removed. Repair value: $500.00. Loss value: $100.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred between 9-18-02 and 9-20-02 at 3:45 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A black CD player, unknown brand name, was stolen from a 1993 Saturn that was parked in the southwest portion of the lot. The front passengers window was broken out. Repair value: $150.00. Loss value: $75.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 9-20-02.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The front passenger's side window of a green Landrover was broken out and three CDs from various artists were stolen. Pry marks were discovered around the AM/FM/CD stereo with a detachable faceplate. Repair value: $100.00. Loss value: $6.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred 9-19-02 between 1:32 a.m. and 1:56 a.m.

Harassment / Terroristic Threat: An unknown caller made several telephone calls to a third floor dormitory room. The caller left several messages stating he was going to inflict severe bodily injury or death to the resident. The caller was described as a male with a husky voice.

School of Social Work Building, 1925 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 9-11-02 at 7:00 p.m. and 9-12-02 at 10:00 a.m.

Theft: A Dell Lattitude C610 laptop computer was stolen from a secured third floor office. Loss value $2,400.00.

1800 block San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 9-14-02 at 9:45 a.m.

Assist Outside Agency / Driving While Intoxicated: A non-UT subject driving a black Ford Explorer was observed hitting two ornamental green colored lampposts located in the 100 block West Martin Luther King Blvd. The vehicle and driver were located in the 1800 block San Jacinto with two flat tires and extensive collision damage.

Occurred between 9-18-02 at 8:30 p.m. and 9-19-02 at 7:30 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: A brick was thrown through the rear window on a 2000 silver Mitsubishi Eclipse that was parked along the south curbline. Repair value: $400.00.
