Be On the Look Out!

Reginald Sutton, black male, 5'9", 200 lbs, 33 years of age: Subject has numerous tattoos on his arms. He wears earrings in both ears. Subject is a suspect in several wallet thefts around campus that include: Townes Hall, Welch, Union Building, College of Business Administration, and Robert L. Moore Hall. Subject is also a suspect in forgery offenses that occurred off campus where forged bank checks were passed. He is known to wander campus hallways looking into offices and when confronted will say that he is looking for his wife or some other named individual. A photograph is available at: UTPD B.O.L.O.

Subject is wanted by UT Police for felony forgery and also wanted by the Austin Police for assault. Subject should be considered dangerous.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 10-5-02 at 10:55 a.m.

Minor In Possession of Alcohol: During the Texas vs. OSU football game, a UT student under the age of twenty-one was seen entering the stadium with a plastic Coke bottle. He was told to throw the bottle in the trash by Gate 12. Subject acted like he did but instead he put the bottle in the waistband of his pants under his shirt. When stopped by UT Police, subject was found to also have a plastic flask containing an alcoholic beverage in his right pocket.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 10-5-02.

Theft: During the Texas vs. OSU football game, an EZ-GO golf cart was stolen from outside Gate 16 at approximately 1:45 pm after a key was left in the ignition. The cart had a red body, black cargo bed and a white top. At approximately 2:05 pm the cart was unsuccessfully chased by stadium vending employees who saw it traveling westbound toward Guadalupe on Inner Campus Drive just south of the Main Bldg. A physical description of the driver is not available at this time. Loss value: $2,000.00.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 10-5-02 at 2:15 p.m.

Minor In Possession of Alcohol: During the Texas vs. OSU football game, a UT student under the age of twenty-one walked past a UT Police officer carrying two 32 ounce plastic cups. Subject reeked of an alcoholic beverage. The plastic cups were found to be full of a liquid that contained an alcoholic beverage.

East Mall Fountain, 2200 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 10-6-02 at 7:38 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: Two UT students were found swimming in the fountain which constituted a personal safety risk due to the exposed electrical wiring in the water. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.

Etter-Harbin Alumni Center, 2110 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 10-5-02.

Forgery: Prior to the Texas vs. OSU football game on 10-5-02 at about 9:00 am, a counterfeit $100 bill was passed when a subject bought several drink voucher tickets. Subject was described as a white male, in his 20's, 5', medium build with short straight flat hair. Subject had a tattoo on the left side of his neck. Subject possibly had a mole below the corner of his left eye. Subject was last seen wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans. At approximately 12 noon, another subject passed two more counterfeit $100 bills when he bought several drink voucher tickets. All three counterfeit bills had the same serial number. The second subject was described as a white male, mid 20's, 5'6", small build with light brown hair. Subject was last seen wearing a white shirt and a white cap with a longhorn logo on it. Subject was accompanied by a white female, 30'ish, with light brown hair with blond streaks. The female was last seen wearing a spaghetti-strap orange tank top with white longhorn logo shorts.

Moore-Hill Dormitory, 214 East 21st Street

Occurred between 10-2-02 at 2:00 p.m. and 10-4-02 at 11:30 a.m.

Theft: An orange-ish red Haro Vector V3 bicycle was stolen from a bicycle rack on the south side of the building while it was secured with a cable and combination lock. Loss value: $150.00.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 10-4-02 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right front window was broken out of a black 1992 Honda Accord LX while it was parked in the northeast portion of the Parking Lot. A black leather CD case containing 25 CDs was stolen along with a pair of aerodynamic style black framed Oakley sunglasses. The in-dash Kenwood radio CD player had been partly removed and the black plastic stereo remote had been stolen. The vehicle had a burglar alarm system and the alarm system indicated that it had gone off. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $400.00.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 10-4-02 between 9:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The right front window was broken out of a blue-ish green 1993 Ford Explorer that was parked in the northeast corner of the Parking Lot. Repair cost: $200.00.

Parking Lot 113, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred between 9-21-02 and 10-6-02 at 7:20 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: The right front window was broken out of a silver 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage while it was parked in the central part of the Parking Lot. Repair cost: $200.00.

Simkins Hall Dormitory, 2501 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 10-2-02 at 10:30 p.m. and 10-04-02 at 12:07 a.m.

Harassing Communication: A series of telephone calls were received at a first floor dormitory room and were annoying based on their frequency, nature of call and the time of the day that the calls were received. The calls sound computer generated and vary from nursery rhyme music to disjointed phrases of a sexual nature.

Simkins Hall Dormitory, 2501 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 10-5-02 at 7:00 p.m. and 10-6-02 at 3:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The rear tire on a "Giant" bicycle was bent while the bicycle was secured to an outside bicycle rack on the west side, north end of the building. Repair cost: $100.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 10-4-02 at 3:50 p.m.

Failure to Identify / Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in an area on the third floor that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject gave officers a false date of birth. Subject was issued a written trespass warning prior to being arrested for failure to identify.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 10-4-02 at 8:15 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in an area on the third floor that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. It was determined that the subject had received a prior written criminal trespass warning.

2000 Speedway

Occurred on 10-5-02 between 2:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m.

Theft: A triangular magnetic sign was stolen from the top of a green Ford Ranger that was parked along the east curbline. Each of the three rectangular sides were 12" high and 24" long. Each side was painted orange and white and had "Longhorn delivery.com" printed in black lettering with "Order On Line Now" printed below it. Loss value: $100.00.

500 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 10-5-02 at 8:45 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found lying in the street, unconscious, due to alcohol poisoning that required an emergency response by emergency medical services. A witness had earlier seen the subject with a yellow dog on a leash. The dog was not with him when he was found. Subject did not know where he was and stated that he did not have his dog with him.
