Disch-Falk Field, 1300 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 10-13-02 at 3:55 a.m.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle: A UT police officer observed an unknown female on the field while driving through Parking Lot 103. Because it was dark and she was across the field from him, he was only able to see that she was wearing red pants and a black shirt. The east side outfield door to the field was found open. As the officer walked onto the field he observed a UT owned grey Chevrolet pickup truck drive onto the field. The vehicle was driven across the field and parked parallel to the north wall. The female subject exited the vehicle, ran to the west fence and climbed over it and was never seen again. An olive colored bag with a shoulder strap was found outside the fence where the female was last seen. Bag contained $107.00 in cash and assorted items that included several identification cards indicating the bag belong to a female subject.

Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River

Occurred on 10-12-02 at 8:18 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in the bushes on the southwest side of the building. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Gateway Apartments, 1600 West 6th Street

Occurred on 10-12-02 at 10:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject, who is the estranged husband of a resident, was stopped near the resident's apartment. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Goldsmith Hall, #5 West Mall

Occurred on 10-12-02 between 3:15 p.m. and 3:37 p.m.

Theft: A blue and silver aluminum Dynacraft bicycle was stolen from a bicycle rack on the north side of the building while it was secured, with a chain lock, for only 22 minutes. Loss value: $150.00.

L. Theo Bellmont Hall, 2109 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 10-11-02 at 8:30 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a third floor men's locker room that is reserved for staff, faculty and Recreational Sports members. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Garage #3, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 10-11-02 at 3:20 p.m.

Possession of Controlled Substance: Two UT students were found on the southeast side of the parking garage smoking marijuana.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 10-13-02 at 9:18 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were found sitting in a vehicle that was parked on the south side of the Parking Lot. Subjects ducked down in the car when a UT police vehicle drove by. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 10-14-02 between 2:23 a.m. and 3:40 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The driver's side window was broken out of a black 1998 Ford pickup truck while it was parked on the west side of the Parking Lot. A Sony Explode stereo and a Bose seven band equalizer were stolen after they were forcibly removed from the dashboard. Repair cost: $500.00. Loss value: $150.00.

Parking Lot 110, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred on 10-11-02 at 11:40 a.m.

Failure to Identify / Assist an Outside Agency / Possession of a Controlled Substance: A UT staff member observed two unknown Hispanic males looking into cars in the Parking Lot. He also observed two additional non-UT subjects in a white vehicle driving slowly around the Parking Lot. The driver (a juvenile) of the white vehicle gave officers a fictitious name. The driver was found to have two outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for failure to identify and curfew violation. The non-UT passenger in the vehicle was found to be in possession of marijuana. The two unknown Hispanic males, that were seen prowling cars were never found.

Parking Lot 110, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred on 10-13-02 at 5:55 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found walking through the Parking Lot carrying a screwdriver. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 113, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred between 9-29-02 at 7:00 p.m. and 10-12-02 at 6:28 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A green 1995 Honda was entered by unknown means and a JVC KD-SH707 MP3 stereo CD player was stolen after it was forcibly removed from the dashboard. The locked glove box was broken into and the stereo's faceplate was stolen. An in-dash coin box was completely removed and $5.00 in change was stolen. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $250.00.

Parlin Hall, #2 South Mall

Occurred between 10-8-02 and 10-11-02.

Burglary: A secured first floor office was entered on at least two occasions and a key to the office was stolen. Loss value: $5.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 10-10-02 at 4:15 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the third floor in an area that is reserved for student, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 10-13-02 at 3:37 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject who first claimed to be a UT student was found on the fourth floor in an area that was reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

1900 Colorado

Occurred on 10-11-02 at 9:00 p.m.

Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle: A non-UT subject was found to be driving the wrong way on a one-way street which almost resulted in a head-on collision with a marked UT police vehicle. An open container of an alcoholic beverage was found in the vehicle. The driver was under the influence of alcohol but not to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

2400 Guadalupe

Occurred on 10-12-02 at 4:00 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found sitting on the sidewalk after a witness observed him fall down. Subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was an endangerment to himself.
