Occurred on 10-23-02 at 6:09 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a third floor men's locker room that is reserved for faculty, staff, Recreational Sports members only. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

McCombs School of Business, 2110 Speedway

Occurred between 10-21-02 at 5:30 p.m. and 10-23-02 at 4:00 p.m.

Theft: An internal revenue code textbook, an international tax law textbook and a corporate estates textbook were stolen from a locker on the second floor. A pink face combination lock that had been left on the locker was also stolen. It was unknown if the lock had been left locked or unlocked. Loss value: $110.00.

Graduate School of Business, 100 West 21st Street

Occurred on 10-22-02 between 4:14 p.m. and 4:16 p.m.

Theft: Two opera tickets to a concert in Houston and $25.00 cash were stolen from a purse that was left in an unsecured second floor recruiting room. A video camera recorded an unknown subject pick up the purse, leave camera range and then return the purse two minutes later. Subject was described as a black male, 16 to 18 years of age, 5'5" and 150 pounds. Subject was described as bow legged. Subject was last seen wearing a blue ball cap with a white logo on the front, black t-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. Subject was carrying a baseball type jacket. Loss value: $115.00.

Hill Hall Dormitory, 216 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-23-02 between 7:30 p.m. and 11:40 p.m.

Theft: A Mongoose bicycle that was metallic red with silver markings was stolen from a bicycle rack on the north side of the building while it was secured with a chain that had a key lock. Loss value: $85.00.

Jester Store, 2001 Speedway

Occurred on 10-23-02 at 3:45 p.m.

Theft: A UT student was identified stealing several items from the store after he picked them up and left the store without paying for them. Subject was identified as the same subject who has been shoplifting items from the store for the past two or three weeks. Loss value: $13.45.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-23-02 at 11:45 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: An unknown male subject was seen exiting from a stall in a tenth floor women's restroom. The subject stated "nice bathroom" and then left the area in an unknown direction of travel. Subject was described as a white male, 6', thin build and was of college age. Subject was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and a ball cap.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred on 10-22-02 between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Theft: A blue with white lettering Schwinn Hybrid bicycle was stolen from a bicycle rack on the west side of the building while it was secured with a 3/8" cable and key lock. Loss value: $200.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 10-24-02 between 12:16 a.m. and 2:14 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left front quarter panel window was broken out of a brown 1990 Ford pickup truck while it was parked in the northwest corner of the Parking Lot. A black JVC CD player was stolen from the dashboard. A black CD soft shell case, containing 15 CD's was stolen from the glove box. Repair cost: $150.00. Loss value: $195.00.

Recreational Sports Center, 2001 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 10-22-02 between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Theft: A blue Jansport backpack was stolen from an unsecured locker that was located near the first floor weight room. Backpack contained a blue 9-West wallet, a Sprint flip-type cellular telephone, a TI-85 calculator and keys. The wallet contained $50.00 cash along with assorted credit cards and identification cards. Loss value: $150.00.

Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street

Occurred on 10-23-02 at 1:43 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found loitering on the east side of the building in the loading dock. This same subject was found loitering in the same area twenty-four hours earlier. Subject was found drawing figures and writing in chalk on the walls in the loading dock area. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Da.m.aged was discovered on 10-23-02 at 8:10 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: BB gun pellets were used to damage window blinds and shoot out an exterior window in a ground floor South Tower room. BB gun pellets were used to damage a hallway window on the second floor. Evidence at the scene indicated damage was caused from the inside of the building. Repair cost: $1,475.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 10-23-02 between 2:00 p.m. and 2:50 p.m.

Theft: A black, grey and white Jansport backpack was stolen from the third floor lobby of the T-House suite. The backpack was on the floor next to a couch the owner was sleeping on. Backpack contained a textbook titled "Introduction to Stellar Astronomy", assorted papers and a navy blue TI-82 graphing calculator. Loss value: $100.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 10-23-02 at 5:57 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the third floor in an area that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject had previously been issued a criminal trespass warning.
