Chilling Station No. 3, 1910 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 10-24-02 and 11-02-02.

Criminal Mischief: A water hose that was located on the east end of a mechanical access area was turned on and the high level water alarm was pulled from its mounting. This was to prevent an alarm from being sounded which resulted in the area being flooded with four and a half feet of water. Repair cost: $500.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 11-20-02 at 4:10 p.m.

Possession of a Controlled Substance: A UT student was found crouching in the exterior southeast mini courtyard smoking a marijuana cigarette.

Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 11-20-02 at 3:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Harassment: A non-UT subject has been making repeated telephone calls to a resident that lives on the fourth floor. On 10-22-02 at approximately 1:00 am, the subject was seen in front of the resident's dormitory room with no shirt on. On 11-20-02 at 3:00 pm an envelope from this subject was found in front of the resident's door. Subject has been told repeatedly not to call or have any contact with the resident. Subject is described as a white male, 22 years of age, 6'3", 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Subject is possibly mental challenged.

L. Theo Bellmont Hall, 2109 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 11-20-02 at 8:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a third floor men's locker room that is reserved for faculty, staff and Recreational Sports members. Subject first claimed to be a UT student.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred between 11-19-02 at 5:00 p.m. and 11-20-02 at 10:00 a.m.

Graffiti: A red felt marking pen was used to write a generalized life-threatening statement on a wall in the second floor men's restroom. Removal cost: $50.00.

Recreational Sports Center, 2001 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 11-20-02 between 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Theft: A tan Eastpak backpack was stolen when the owner placed it in a day use locker and did not secure the locker. The backpack contained a silver Sprint cellular telephone, a silver necklace with a rectangular pendant that had a dragon and Chinese writing on it, a pair of pierced silver earrings with a square design, several articles of clothing, a Spanish soft covered workbook titled "Metas Communicativas Para Negocios" and a tan wallet with Chi Omega symbols embroidered on the front. The wallet contained a dollar in change, assorted credit and identification cards. Loss value: $350.00.
