Occurred on 11-26-02 between 12 noon and 8:15 p.m.
Theft: A grey 12" x 20" x 8" Boxlight Revolution III projector was stolen from a portable stand in an unsecured third floor classroom. Loss value: $3,000.00.
McCombs School of Business, 2110 Speedway
Occurred between 11-26-02 at 5:30 p.m. and 1127-02 at 8:30 a.m.
Burglary: A Dell Precision 340 2.53 GHZ computer with a 34 Gigabyte hard drive and a Dell Optiplex Pentium 166 MHZ computer were stolen from a secured fifth floor office. The computers operated the PhD network for the Marketing Department. The hub (switchboard) that the computers were sitting on was also stolen. Loss value: $2,800.00.
Deep Eddy Apartments, 2501 Lake Austin
Occurred between 11-29-02 at 12 noon and 11-30-02 at 9:30 a.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right front window was broken out of a red 1997 Audi that was parked on the west side of Building "J." The face plate of a Pioneer AM/FM/CD player was stolen. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $100.00.
Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River
Occurred on 11-29-02 between 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Theft: A brown and grey leather purse was stolen when it was left on top of a desk in an unsecured first floor kitchen office. The purse contained a checkbook, black address book and a light brown leather wallet. The wallet contained $300.00 cash, assorted credit cards and identification cards.
Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building A, 2504A Whitis Avenue
Occurred between 11-20-02 at 6:00 p.m. and 11-22-02 at 11:00 a.m.
Theft: A black plastic with white lettering 2" x 8" nameplate was stolen off a seventh floor door. After the theft, the occupant received a harassing e-mail from an unknown subject who admitted to the theft. Loss value: $10.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street
Occurred on 11-18-02 between 8:55 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Burglary: A portable CD player (no other description) was stolen from an unsecured first floor dormitory room. Loss value: $75.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street
Occurred on 12-2-02 at 5:49 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found distributing advertising flyers on the 10th floor. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
L. Theo Bellmont Hall, 2109 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred on 11-28-02 at 3:26 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was observed walking along the sidewalk, pulling on the locked west side exterior doors. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Littlefield Dormitory, 201 West Dean Keeton
Occurred between 11-14-02 at 12:01 p.m. and 11-28-02 at 2:30 p.m.
Theft: A white and black women's Trek bicycle was stolen from a bicycle rack that was located on the south side of the building. The bicycle had been secured to the bicycle rack by the front wheel with the use of a large U-lock. The front wheel was not stolen. Loss value: $300.00.
Main Building, #1 South Mall
Occurred on 11-27-02 at 3:07 p.m.
Criminal Trespass / Assist an Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found walking around the third floor of the Life Science Library scaring females with the skull of a cat that had profane language written on it. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning. Subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for theft.
Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletics Center, 2015 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred on 11-29-02 at 3:15 p.m.
Assault with Bodily Injury / Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject approached another non-UT subject who was seated at the bar in the End Zone Club which was set up during the Texas vs. AM football game. Both subjects had known each other in high school. Without warning the subject at the bar was struck in the head by the other subject's closed fist which resulted in the victim receiving an abrasion to his left cheek. The assailant was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was an endangerment to himself.

Occurred between 11-24-02 at 10:30 p.m. and 11-25-02 at 11:45 a.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left front window was broken out of a silver Jeep that was parked on level four. A JVC AM/FM/CD player was stolen from the dashboard. Repair cost: $300.00. Loss value: $120.00.
Parking Garage #1, 2401 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred on 11-29-02 between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left front window was broken out of a blue 1996 Honda that was parked on level seven. Two CD's were stolen from the center console. A Pentax compact 35 mm camera and a black wooden clarinet was stolen from the trunk. Repair cost: $200. Loss value: $358.00.
Parking Lot 111, 2200 Salina
Occurred between 11-26-02 at 6:00 p.m. and 11-28-02 at 7:25 a.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The back sliding glass window was broken out of a blue 1992 Ford Ranger pickup truck that was parked on the west side of the Parking Lot. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD player was stolen from the dashboard. The removable face plate for the CD player and a 35 mm camera was stolen from under the driver's seat. Repair cost: 400.00. Loss value: $130.00.
Parking Lot 113, 2200 Comal Street
Occurred between 11-25-02 at 9:00 p.m. and 12-1-02 at 1:45 a.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left front window was broken out of a white 1988 Honda that was parked on the south side of the Parking Lot. A Kenwood AM/FM/CD player was stolen from the dashboard and a two-foot long Joe Blow bicycle air pump was stolen from the back seat. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $100.00.
Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall
Occurred on 11-27-02 at 1:30 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: A UT student set off the book detector alarm at the first floor exit. A UT library book was found in his backpack that had the card catalog ripped out, the inside strips removed and the outside cover removed. Repair cost: $20.00.
Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street
Discovered on 12-1-02 at 5:30 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: A fire extinguisher was discharged in stairwell #3 between the first and fourth floor. Red tape was found wrapped around the handle to keep the trigger depressed. Cleanup cost: $100.00.
Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe
Discovered on 11-30-02 at 1:00 a.m.
Graffiti: Yellow, blue and white paint were used to write two 3'x 6' gang-type monikers on the east exterior wall. Removal cost: $200.00.

Occurred on 11-28-02 at 3:16 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated: A non-UT subject was stopped after the vehicle he was driving was observed traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to heed a stop sign. Subject was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he failed several field sobriety tests.
