Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 11-29-02 at 11:34 a.m.

Minor in Possession: A UT student under the age of twenty-one was observed by Gate 25, lifting the front of his shirt up over his waistband revealing a flask that contained an alcoholic beverage.

Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 12-9-02 at 5:56 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were found in the basement in an area that is reserved for students, staff and faculty. One of the subjects had already been issued a prior written criminal trespass warning and had been arrested on more than one occasion for criminal trespass. The second subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building. B, 2504B Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 12-8-02 between 1:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Theft: A black canvas Manhatten shoulder bag was stolen from the top of a file cabinet that was located in a third floor office. The office had been "sporadically unoccupied" during the time the theft could have occurred. The bag contained a calendar planner, miscellaneous personal papers and a bank checkbook. Loss value: $15.00.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred between 12-6-02 at 5:00 p.m. and 12-9-02 at 7:10 a.m.

Graffiti: A red felt marker was used to draw a symbol on the inside door of elevators #1 and #2. Removal cost: $40.00.

Music and Bates Recital Hall, 2405 Trinity

Discovered on 12-9-02 at 11:55 p.m.

Graffiti: A black felt marker was used to write a word on a wall in the northeast stairwell between the second and third floor. Removal cost: $100.00.

Parking Lot 110, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred on 12-9-02 between 7:00 a.m. and 12:20 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The left front window was broken out of a blue 1996 Lincoln Town Car that was parked in the northeast corner of the Parking Lot. The vehicle's fuse box was damaged to silence the vehicle's burglar alarm. There was evidence that the steering column cover and ignition switch were tampered with in an attempt to hotwire the car but it was unsuccessful because the fuse box had received too much damage. Repair cost: $500.00.

Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street

Occurred on 12-10-02 between 12:30 a.m. and 12:40 a.m.

Theft: A black Hewlett Packard Pavillion laptop computer was stolen when it was left unattended for approximately ten minutes in a third floor cubicle. Loss value: $600.00.

Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street

Occurred on 12-10-02 between 1:45 a.m. and 1:50 a.m.

Theft: A black Texas Instrument TI-89 calculator was stolen when it was left unattended for approximately five minutes in a fifth floor cubicle. Loss value: $40.00.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Discovered on 12-9-02 at 7:45 a.m.

Graffiti: A red felt marker was used to draw a symbol on the inside door of elevator #2. Removal cost: $20.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 12-9-02 at 10:29 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the 3rd floor in an area that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

300 East 21st Street

Occurred between 12-6-02 at 4:30 p.m. and 12-9-02 at 7:30 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: The key lock was broken on the chain that secured the north end of the west service drive next to San Jacinto Residence Hall. Replacement cost: $30.00.
