Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in an area where he had no official business to be in. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street
Occurred between 10-24-02 at 1:00 a.m. and 12-17-02 at 12:30 p.m.
Harassing Communication: An unknown male and female subject who have identified themselves as Eric and Sunshine have repeatedly called a resident on her cellular telephone. They individually have stated that they had purchased a cellular telephone with her cellular telephone number and keep requesting information about her cellular account. The complainant's cellular telephone carrier has been contacted and they stated that no two cellular telephones have the same telephone number. Complainant had repeatedly told the subjects to stop calling her.
Main Building, #1 South Mall
Occurred on 12-17-02 from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Suspicious Activity: An unknown subject approached a UT staff member by the Information Desk that is located in the first floor hallway on 12-17-02 at 9:00 pm. The subject asked the staff member to let him into Room #1. The staff member stated she could not do that. The subject stated he worked in Room #1 but was again denied access. Subject then left the area. Subject was described as a Hispanic male, 5'7", age: "young", with a thin build and short black hair. Another unknown subject approached a UT staff member by the trashcans on the north side of the building on 12-17-02 at 9:30 pm. The subject asked the staff member to let him into a room in the building. When the staff member said she couldn't do that, the subject offered her $200.00 to let him into the room. The staff member again said no and the subject left without telling her which room he wanted into. Subject was described as a male subject who might have been a foreign national from India, approximately 25 years of age, 5'7", thin build and thick black eyebrows. Subject was last seen wearing a long black coat.

Occurred between 12-16-02 at 4:45 p.m. and 12-17-02 at 7:45 a.m.
Graffiti: A red felt marker was used to write a letter and symbol on the inside of one of elevator #1's doors. Removal cost: $10.00.
Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street
Occurred between 12-13-02 at 4:00 p.m. and 12-17-02 at 7:26 a.m.
Theft: A Dell 1503 flat panel computer monitor was stolen from a second floor classroom. The classroom was unsecured. The monitor had been removed from a fiber optic loop alarm without tampering with or activating the loop alarm itself. Loss value: $500.00.
Roberts Hall Dormitory, 303 East 21st Street
Occurred between 12-16-02 at 4:30 p.m. and 12-17-02 at 8:15 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: A wooden slat was broken off of a wooden bench that is located on the south side of the building. Repair cost: $75.00.
Simkins Hall Dormitory, 2501 San Jacinto Blvd.
Occurred between 12-17-02 at 3:30 p.m. and 12-18-02 at 12:40 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: The "whole" exterior window glass pane in a first floor dormitory room was broken out. Evidence indicated that the window was broken from an inside force. Repair cost: $150.00.
