Burglary of Coin-Operated Machine: Three vending machines (2 Coca Cola machines and 1 Dasani water bottle machine) were forcibly broken into. The vending machines were located in the northwest second floor vending area. Repair cost: $800.00. Loss value: Undetermined at this time.
Music 7 Bates Recital Hall, 2405 Trinity
Occurred on 1-6-03 between 11:10 a.m. and 11:20 a.m.
Theft: A tan 12-inch by 12-inch purse with a shoulder strap was stolen from an unsecured second floor office. The purse had been left under a desk. The purse contained a checkbook, black and white checked makeup bag and a brown wallet. The wallet contained assorted ID and credit cards. Loss value: $20.00.

Occurred on 1-7-03 at 2:00 a.m.
Assist an Outside Agency: A UT staff member was found in a first floor computer laboratory in possession of university keys that were not issued to him. Subject was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for failure to appear on three traffic citations.
Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation Building (MCC), 3900 West Braker Lane
Occurred on 1-6-03 at 4:55 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were found camping in the woods on the west side of the MCC Building. Subjects had been camping there for over two months. Both subjects were issued a written criminal trespass warning.
