Disch-Falk Field, 1300 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred between 2-9-03 at 8:00 p.m. and 2-10-03 at 8:00 a.m.

Theft: Two orange 2-ft by 6-ft banners that stated "UT 2002 NCAA College World Series Champions" were stolen from a breezeway by sections 104-106 and 106-108. Loss value: $1,200.00.

Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River

Occurred on 2-9-03 at 9:21 p.m.

Assault: Two non-UT subjects began to argue when the spouse of one of the subjects would not sit down during a musical concert, blocking the view of people behind her. The blockee slapped the blockor's spouse on the top of his head with an open hand.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st

Occurred on 2-9-03 at 5:29 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: An unknown subject entered an unsecured third floor dormitory room while it was occupied by the two female residents. The subject sat down on a bed and attempted to put his arm around one of the residents without actually touching her. Both residents told the subject to get out of their room. The subject acted confused and immediately left the room. The subject is described as a white male, 19 to 22 years of age, approximately 5'11" with a slender build. Subject was last seen wearing dark plaid pants with no shirt.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred on 2-9-03 at 12:47 a.m.

Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia / Criminal Trespass: Two UT students entered the building after it was closed to the public and were found exiting an area closed to pedestrian traffic with barrier tape. One of the students was found in possession of a plastic baggie containing marijuana and 3-inch ceramic pipe containing marijuana residue.

Parking Garage #2, 2420 San Antonio Street

Discovered on 2-10-03 at 5:00 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: A Coca-Cola vending machine on the third level and one on the fourth level were damaged. Both machines had pry marks around the door of the machine. Repair cost: $300.00.

Parking Lot 23, 1800 block of Red River

Occurred on 2-9-03 at 9:40 p.m.

Public Intoxication / Driving While Intoxicated: A non-UT subject was observed staggering down the sidewalk. It was determined that she had just been ejected from the Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center for throwing beer on several people. It was also determined that she was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself. A non-UT subject drove up in a motor vehicle and stated that he was her boyfriend and started yelling at her. It was determined that the subject was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point that he was driving while intoxicated after he failed several field sobriety tests.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred between 2-5-03 at 11:00 a.m. and 2-8-03 at 9:40 p.m.

Criminal Mischief / Theft: The driver's side front window and the passenger's side rear window were broken out of a white Jeep Cherokee. The rear window wiper was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $150.00. Loss value: $70.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 Block of North IH-35

Occurred between 02-04-03 at 12:00 p.m. and 2-08-03 at 8:00 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The driver's side window was broken out of a green 2000 Dodge pick-up truck that was parked in the central portion of the southernmost median. A Pioneer CD/AM-FM stereo was stolen from the dashboard. Repair cost: $200.00; Loss value $150.00.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 2-8-03 at 5:00 p.m.

Criminal trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping under a blanket on a third floor couch. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

1800 block of Red River

Occurred on 2-8-03 at 6:20 p.m.

Public Intoxication / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found staggering down the sidewalk under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself. The subject was found to have two outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for theft and camping in a public area.

2100 block of San Jacinto Blvd.

Discovered on 2-9-03 at 7:49 a.m.

Graffiti: A black felt marker was used to write words and letters on the north side of the University Federal Credit Union ATM. Repair cost: $50.00.

Student Health Center (Old), 107 West Dean Keeton

Occurred between 2-6-03 at 5:00 p.m. and 2-9-03 at 12 noon.

Criminal Mischief: The metal doorframe was damaged on a closet door that was located in a second floor office when someone attempted to pry the door open. Repair cost: $50.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 208-03 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Graffiti: A blue pen was used to etch a word on the top of a metal paper dispenser in a first floor men's restroom. Repair cost: $25.00.

2400 University Avenue

Occurred on 2-8-03 at 9:55 p.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped for a moving traffic violation while operating a motor vehicle. Subject was found to have two outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for traffic violations and one arrest warrant for failure to appear in court.

2600 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 2-7-03 at 4:36 p.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped for multiple moving traffic violations while operating a motor vehicle which included a "spin-out" of the vehicle's tires in an exhibition of speed. Subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for failure to appear in court.

Wooldridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street

Discovered on 2-7-03 at 11:58 p.m.

Graffiti: A silver permanent marker was used to write a word and a symbol on a metal electrical box located on the west side of the building. Repair cost: $50.00.

100 West 8th Street

Occurred on 2-11-03 at 12:03 a.m.

Assault / Assist an Outside Agency: UT police observed a non-UT subject standing over another non-UT subject punching him several times. Reason for the assault was due to an alleged relationship victim had with an ex-girlfriend of the offender. Subjects were released to the Austin police.
