Colorado Building, 702 Colorado Street

Occurred on 2-15-03 at 2:50 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found "staggering" around the top level of the parking garage. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River Street

Occurred on 2-16-03 between 12:00 noon and 3:30 p.m.

Theft: A black snap closure women's wallet containing $30.00 cash, a James Avery bracelet, a diamond necklace, two credit cards and a social security card was stolen from an unsecured women's locker room. Loss value: $385.00.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 2-15-03 between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Theft: A brown bi-fold Van Huesen wallet was stolen when it was left on a first row bleacher next to a second floor basketball court. The wallet contained three credit cards and a UT dining card. Loss amount: $5.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 2-14-03 at 9:15 p.m.

Harassing Communications: An unknown male subject made an annoying telephone call to a ninth floor dormitory room. The resident was reminded to use the "Star 57" feature on her dormitory telephone, which would trace the call.

Living Learning Center, 2610 Whitis Ave.

Occurred on 2-16-03 at 1:00 a.m.

Disorderly Conduct: A UT student was found causing a breach of the public peace by yelling obscenities at an acquaintance that was walking through the courtyard. The student refused to cease even though he was told by UT police he would be arrested if he didn't.

Living Learning Center, 2610 Whitis Ave.

Discovered on 2-17-03 at 12:35 a.m.

Graffiti: Blue and white spray paint was used to make gang-style markings on the wooden fence on the north side of the complex. Removal cost: $50.00.

Parking Garage #3, 200 Block of East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred between 2-16-03 at 12:00 p.m. and 2-16-03 at 9:40 a.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: While parked on the west side of level four, a black 2001 Honda Accord was struck in the front bumper and hood area by an unknown vehicle that left the scene without giving notice. Repair cost: $1,500.00.

Parking Garage #5, 2017 Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred on 2-14-03 between 9:20 a.m. and 12:00 noon.

Leaving the Scene Collision: While parked on the up ramp between level 1 and level 2, a 2002 white Chevrolet Suburban was struck in the right side door by an unknown vehicle that left the scene without leaving notice. Black rubber was transferred onto the right door. Repair Cost: $250.00.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Block of Red River Street

Occurred on 2-14-03 at 5:45 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A gold 2003 Ford Expedition, while backing out of a parking space, backed into an unattended white Honda motor-scooter that belong to UT Parking and Transportation. The vehicle left the scene without giving notice. It was later determined that the Ford Expedition had been issued a parking ticket and was last seen by witnesses leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. Repair Cost: $450.00.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 2-15-03 at 7:50 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in a portion of the building that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject had previously received a written criminal trespass warning.

Simkins Hall Dormitory, 2501 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 2-14-03 at 5:00 p.m. and 2-15-03 at 11:20 p.m.

Theft: A pair of black Adidas tennis shoes was stolen when they were left outside a first floor dormitory room. The right shoe was later found hanging above the victim's dormitory door. Loss value: $10.00.

Student Health Center (Old), 107 West Dean Keeton Street

Occurred on 2-14-03 between 2:30 p.m. and 2:31 p.m.

Theft: A black backpack containing a silver Sanyo cellular telephone, a graphics calculator, a calculus textbook, a UT ID, 2 notebooks and a set of keys was stolen from a second floor hallway when the property was left unattended for one minute. Telephone calls were made on the cellular telephone within one-half hour of the theft. Loss value: $95.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Discovered on 2-16-03 at 8:00 p.m.

Graffiti: A black felt pen was used to write words on a second floor men's restroom wall. Removal costs: $40.00.

2600 University Avenue

Occurred on 2-14-03 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:25 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A purplish red 1996 Ford Explorer was struck in its left back panel and rear bumper by an unidentified vehicle that left the scene without leaving notice. Red paint was transferred onto the vehicle. Repair cost: $500.00.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred on 2-13-03 at 9:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in the ground floor parking area. The subject had received a prior written criminal trespass warning for this area.

Discovered on 2-17-03 at 2:30 a.m.

Graffiti: An unknown instrument was used to etch gang-style markings into a pane of glass on the southeast side of the building. Repair cost: $250.00.

2400 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 2-15-03 at 2:00 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A UT student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself. It was determined that the subject had been drinking alcoholic beverages to celebrate his 21st birthday.
