Theft: A tan leather Coach make-up bag with a zipper closure containing $3.00 cash, a check-card, and a Texas driver's license was stolen when it was left on a counter in a third floor women's restroom. The stolen items were left for 5 to 10 minutes. Loss value: $43.00.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 2-10-03 between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Theft of Motor Vehicle: A green 2003 Toyota RAV4 sport-utility vehicle with buyer tags was stolen from an area northwest of the stadium. The owner stated he had parked the vehicle in a metered space. Loss amount: $19,600.00.

Homer Rainey Hall, 200 West 21st

Occurred between 2-12-03 at 2:00 p.m. and 2-16-03 at 2:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The key cover fallboard to a Steinway and Sons concert piano in a second floor room was damaged when the "bar" of the cover was bent away from the cover. The key cover keeps unauthorized subjects from playing the piano. Repair cost: $100.00.

Jesse H. Jones Communication Center Building A, 2504-A Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 2-5-03 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Theft: A dark gray cloth bag with a multi-colored South American pattern containing a cloth bi-fold multi-colored wallet, three credit cards, various identification cards and keys were stolen from an unsecured fourth floor room. Loss amount: $15.00.

Occurred on 2-17-03 between 4:50 p.m. and 4:56 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found exiting the south lobby, an area reserved for dormitory residents and staff. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Possession of Controlled Substance: Responding to a report of a smell of marijuana, UT police found a UT student in a seventh floor dormitory room to be in possession of 2.75 ounces of marijuana.

Penick-Allison Tennis Center, 1701 Trinity

Occurred between 2-14-03 at 5:00 p.m. and 2-17-03 at 7:52 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: Two streetlight globes and light bulbs were "shattered" in the southeast corner of the tennis courts. Repair cost: $1,600.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred between 2-14-03 at 5:00p.m. and 2-18-03 and 8:00 a.m.

Graffiti: An unknown item was used to scratched words into two doors located in the Underground. Repair cost: $60.00.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 2-18-03 at 12:33 a.m.

Graffiti: Black and white spray paint was used to paint gang-style markings on the north exterior wall. Repair cost: $70.00.
