Graffiti: White paint was used to write a word and a symbol on the west main entrance doorframe. Removal cost: $50.00.

Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, under the age of 21, was found asleep on a bench next to the west side entrance of the dormitory. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st

Discovered on 2-23-03 at 7:38 a.m.

Graffiti: A blue marker was used to write a word on a sink and "white shoe polish" was used to write a word on a paper dispenser in a first floor restroom. Removal cost: $50.00.

Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue

Occurred between 2-18-03 at 7:30 p.m. and 2-19-03 at 7:45 a.m.

Theft: A blue, white and silver Rawlings model M50 21-speed mountain bicycle was stolen while it was secured to a north side bicycle rack with a u-lock and a combination cable lock. Loss value: $150.00.

Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation Building (MCC), 3925 West Braker Lane

Occurred on 2-21-03 between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A UT faculty parking permit was stolen from a 1997 tan Ford Explorer while it was parked on the southeast side of the building. It is unknown if the vehicle was secured at the time as the owner had been having problems with the alarm / keyless entry system. Loss value: $10.00.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred on 2-23-03 between 7:00 p.m. and 7:20 p.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped after he was seen driving through several Parking Lots. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for theft.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway

Discovered on 2-21-03 at 11:35 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The plastic housing surrounding the coin slot of a Coca-Cola vending machine was partially pried from the machine. Repair cost: $50.00.

Occurred between 1-29-03 at 7:30 p.m. and 2-19-03 at 7:30 p.m.

Theft: Two light blue short sleeve custodial services uniform shirts, one light blue long sleeve custodial uniform shirt and one pair of Wrangler blue jeans were stolen from a third floor office. Loss value: $50.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st

Occurred between 2-22-03 at 9:30 p.m. and 2-23-03 at 7:00 p.m.

Theft: A navy blue Abercrombie and Fitch polo-style shirt, a blue Tommy Hilfiger polo-style shirt, a blue and white checkerboard Eddie Bauer long-sleeve shirt, a blue and white plaid Abercrombie and Fitch long-sleeve shirt, a gray Nautica sweatshirt with a zipper collar, a gray Abercrombie and Fitch hooded sweatshirt with a torn collar and a pair of Ambercrombie and Fitch blue jeans with a 1-inch cut in each leg was stolen from an unsecured laundry dryer on the first floor. Loss value: $55.00.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 2-22-03 at 1:55 p.m.

Assault by Threat / Disorderly Conduct / Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject threatened a library employee by stating he would "smash in the head" of a library tour guide if a tour did not "quiet down." The subject used several obscenities. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st

Occurred on 2-22-03 at 6:28 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in the building after the building had closed. The subject attempted to exit the building over the roll-down security gates by climbing on top of a vending machine. The subject fell and injured his head. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 2-23-03 at 5:48 p.m.

Graffiti: White and black spray paint were used to write a gang-style word on the north exterior wall. Removal Cost: $120.00.
