F. Loren Winship Drama Building, 300 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 2-26-03 at 11:05 p.m.

Assault: A student attempted to pass a subject on a sidewalk located on the eastside of the building and was struck in the leg by a bag that the subject was carrying. The subject began to use profane language. The subject "shoved" the student to the ground. The subject began to "grapple" with the student and pulled the student's jacket off. The subject dropped the jacket and fled the scene. While running away the subject yelled, "I'm going to get a gun and shoot you." The subject was described as a white male, 29 years old, 5'10" tall, thin build, long full brown beard, last seen wearing layered clothing with the outer layer being a wind suit and a "beenie" type hat. The subject was transient in appearance and carried a dark bag.

Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 2-26-03 at 5:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a first floor area that was reserved for use by faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 2-26-03 between 12:45 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Theft: Several items were stolen from an unsecured 12th floor dormitory room. The items are described as: a black Kenneth Cole wallet containing $300.00 cash, a credit card, various gift cards and an identification card. A CD case containing six Sony Playstation games titled: Desert Storm, Vice City, Grande Theft Auto 3, Virtual Flight, Final Fantasy and Agent Under Fire was also stolen. Loss value: $480.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 2-27-03 at 1:44 a.m.

Assault / Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was bowling at the Underground when he decided to leave because an Underground staff member was singing on the public announcement system. The subject refused to pay the bowling fee. Four staff members surrounded the subject. One of the staff members "poked" the subject in the chest. The subject punched the staff member in the face. All four staff members began to fight with the subject. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
