Occurred between 3-19-03 at 3:30 p.m. and 3-20-03 at 8:00 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: A piece of Plexiglas and a posted notice that addressed vandalism involving graffiti was pulled from a wall in an elevator and in a fourth floor men's restroom. Repair cost: $50.00.
Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Building, 200 East Dean Keeton
Discovered on 3-20-03 at 4:45 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: White chalk was used to write two statements outside the southwest entrance to the building. Removal cost: $10.00.
Colorado Building, 702 Colorado
Discovered on 3-21-03 at 6:40 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: A black marker was used to write anti-war statements on a south exterior wall. Removal cost: $50.00.
2000 Block Jester Service Drive
Occurred on 3-21-03 at 1:00 a.m.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 Counts) / Public Intoxication: A UT student under the age of 21, who was under the influence of an alcohol beverage, was found dragging a UT student under the age of 21, because the subject was unconscious due to alcohol poisoning. Emergency Medical Services transported the unconscious student to the hospital.
Main Building, #1 South Mall
Occurred on 3-21-03 at 12:40 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found asleep in a first floor women's restroom after the building was closed to the public. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
Trinity Garage, 1815 Trinity
Occurred on 3-20-03 at 4:51 p.m.
Theft: A yellow 2000 Hyundai bearing Texas license plates was observed exiting the west side of the garage by following a car through the exit before the control arm came down. Loss value: $32.00.
2500 University Avenue
Occurred between 3-20-03 at 3:00 p.m. and 3-21-03 at 12:52 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: A fuel line was cut on a silver 1971 BMW motorcycle while it was parked in the motorcycle parking area. The perpetrator might have been one of two Japanese V-twin motorcycle operators because the victim had to squeeze his motorcycle between these two motorcycles so he could park.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 3-20-03 at 11:41 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the fourth floor in an area that was reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
