Occurred on 4-2-03 between 9:30 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.
Theft: A brown leather tool belt containing a side-cutter, a diagonal-cutter, a sheetrock saw, one set of allen wrenches, a 1 3/8 nut driver, a rotary Phillips screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, a pair of stripper pliers, a pair of tin snips and one Voltec voltage detector was stolen from the first floor elevator lobby. The tool belt was marked with the initials "JKA." Loss value: $200.00.
Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River
Occurred on 4-2-03 at 8:40 p.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found in the mezzanine east concourse under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself.
Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway
Occurred on 3-31-03 between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Theft: A Motorola flip cellular telephone was stolen from the basketball annex when the owner left the telephone on the bleachers to play basketball. Loss value: $200.00.
Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway
Occurred on 4-2-03 between 11:00 a.m. and 11:05 a.m.
Theft: A red leather purse containing $20.00 cash, keys, a bottle opener, a spark plug cap and various identification cards was stolen from a 5th floor lounge area when the owner left the purse under a chair for five minutes. Loss value: $30.00.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Discovered 4-3-03 at 12 midnight.
Graffiti: A black marker was used to write words on a wooden first floor restroom door. Removal cost: $25.00.
200 Block of West 22nd Street
Occurred on 4-2-03 at 6:00 p.m.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was stopped for a traffic violation. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant.
200 Block of West 24th Street
Occurred on 4-2-03 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:25 p.m.
Stalking: A non-UT subject, who is an acquaintance of a UT student, has been "following the student around campus" after the student told the subject to leave her alone. The subject did not leave the student alone until she asked a Parking and Transportation gatehouse guard to call the police. The subject has assaulted the student on two previous occasions at her off-campus apartment.
