Andrews Dormitory, 2401 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 4-26-03 at 12:03 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by Minor: A UT student under the age of 21 was found in a second floor dormitory room under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point EMS had to be called due to acute alcohol poisoning.

Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 4-28-03 at 2:38 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was identified on the east side of the building creating a disturbance. Subject was standing in a pair of red boxer shorts with his pants pulled down and was "yelling noises." It could not be determined if the subject was under the influence of drugs or had a mental disability. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 102, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred on 4-28-03 between 1:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The left side window was broken out of a black 1988 GMC Jimmy that was parked in the north portion of the lot. Repair cost: $200.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 4-28-03 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right front window was broken out of a blue 2001 Chevrolet Blazer. Two ten-inch MTX subwoofers were stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $475.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 4-28-03 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left window was broken out of a red 1995 Acura. A black leather CD case containing 100 CD's was stolen along with a JL10W6 ten-inch woofer from the trunk area and a Panasonic CQ-DFX972U CD player that was mounted in the dashboard. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $1,200.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 4-26-03 at 7:15 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject attempted to start a fight with another non-UT subject because of the teasing he had received from the subject during the baseball game at Disch-Falk Field. The subject who was trying to initiate a fight was found under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was an endangerment to himself.

Parking Lot 109, 2200 Leona Street

Occurred on 4-28-03 between 11:30 a.m. and 11:15 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The right side window was broken out of a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck while it was parked in the lot. Repair cost: $200.00.

Prather Hall Dormitory, 305 East 21st Street

Occurred on 4-26-03 at 1:48 a.m.

Terroristic Threat: A UT student put a trashcan in a parking spot on the westside of the building to save the spot before he drove away. When he returned he found another UT student moving the trash can so she could park her vehicle. The male driver pulled into the parking space before the female driver could move her car into the space. A very heated argument ensued between the two drivers. A male friend of the female driver started arguing with the male driver. At this time the male driver producing a weapon (later determined to be a pellet gun) and pointed it the subject.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway

Occurred between 4-25-03 at 9:00 p.m. and 4-26-03 at 3:00 p.m.

Theft: A Macintosh G4 Tower was stolen from a thirteenth floor physics laboratory. The computer is normally secured to a desktop with a steel cable and lock but at the time of the theft the computer was unsecured due to diagnostic work that was being performed on the computer. Loss value: $800.00.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway

Occurred between 4-25-02 at 6:00 p.m. and 4-28-03 at 7:30 a.m.

Theft: A black Dell 5000 laptop computer was stolen from a possibly unsecured office on the thirteenth floor. Loss value: $700.00.

Roberts Hall Dormitory, 303 East 21st Street

Occurred on 4-27-03 at 5:26 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: Two UT students were found burning numerous newspapers in a south patio barbecue pit just to burn them resulting in the spreading of black ashes around the patio and sidewalk. Cleanup cost: $5.00.

2200 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 4-28-03 at 10:45 p.m.

Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student, while operating a motor vehicle, failed to heed the stop sign at 23rd and San Jacinto. Subject was found under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he failed the field sobriety tests that were administered to him.

South Mall

Discovered on 4-28-03 at 11:35 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: Blue chalk was used to write several words at the base of the Stehpan J. Hogg statue. Removal cost: $10.00.

2400 Trinity

Occurred on 4-26-03 at 9:50 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found sitting partially under a parked vehicle while also sitting along the curbline. Subject was found under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was an endangerment to herself. Emergency medical services responded to the scene due to the acute level of alcohol poisoning being displayed by the subject.

Whitaker Fields, 51st Street and Guadalupe

Occurred on 4-28-03 between 8:50 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Theft: The owner of a pickup truck parked on the north side of the tennis courts got out of his vehicle and placed a red and black CD case containing 80 CD's on the right rail of the bed of the pickup truck. The owner then left the area and when he returned, he found the CD case had been stolen. Loss value: $340.00.

Wooldridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street

Occurred on 4-28-03 at 5:14 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found loitering on the south side of the building. The subject was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He stated that he has been drinking since Eeyore's birthday party, which took place two days prior. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

300 West 21st Street

Occurred on 4-26-03 at 6:08 p.m.

Public Intoxication / Consumption of Alcohol By Minor: A UT student under the age of 21, while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, was observed staggering and swaying as he walked along the sidewalk. The subject twice stepped off the sidewalk into the street and stumbled when he tried to get back onto the sidewalk.
