Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall, 210 West 6th Street

Occurred on 6-1-03 at 5:50 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the plaza. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Colorado Building, 702 Colorado

Discovered on 5-31-03 at 3:30 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: A brown crayon was used to write a word on the northeast corner of the building. Removal cost: $20.00.

2600 Guadalupe

Occurred on 5-31-03 between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Assist Outside Agency: UT police were flagged down regarding a subject who had locked himself inside the Jack-in-the-Box men's restroom for more than one and one-half hours. The officer did not get a response from the subject in the restroom but heard "labored breathing" sounds. Officers "picked the lock" and entered the restroom and found a non-UT subject unconscious on the floor with a belt tied around his arm. Several hypodermic needles, a small "baggie" containing an unknown substance and the bottom third of a "soda can" were found in the restroom. Emergency Medical Services transported the subject to a local hospital.

Parking Lot 53, 2600 San Jacinto Blvd.

Discovered on 6-1-03 at 3:39 a.m.

Graffiti: White paint was used to write words on the south support beams of the bridge by the north entrance to the lot, and green paint was used to write words and letters on the northeast corner post of the same bridge. Removal cost: $150.00.

2000 Speedway

Occurred on 5-31-03 between 11:00 p.m. and 12:45 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject parked a vehicle in the 2000 block of Speedway and got out of the vehicle to ask a pedestrian for directions. The pedestrian recognized that the driver was intoxicated. to keep the driver from leaving, the pedestrian convinced the driver to give him his keys and stayed with the driver for an hour and forty-five minutes. When the driver asked for his keys the pedestrian asked the driver to walk a straight line. The driver was unable to do this, so UT police were summoned. The driver was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Discovered on 5-31-03 at 3:30 p.m.

Graffiti: An unknown instrument was used to "etch" a word into the exterior doors of a freight elevator on the second level. Repair cost: $150.00.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred on 5-31-03 at 7:10 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found panhandling on the east side of the building in violation of the UT Regent's Rules and Regulations. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for failure to appear for an open container violation.
