Biology Laboratories, 205 West 24th Street
Occurred between 5-8-03 at 5:00 p.m. and 5-9-03 at 10:00 a.m.
Theft: A gray Corning ph meter, a gray Corning stir plate and a gray electronic balance were stolen from an unsecured 4th floor laboratory. Loss value: $1,500.00.
Parking Lot 40, 2400 Red River
Occurred 6-5-03 between 12 noon and 3:15 p.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right side window was broken out of a red and silver 1988 Chevrolet pick-up truck. A black JVC CD / radio with a detachable faceplate and a music CD were stolen from the truck. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $130.00.
Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35
Occurred on 6-6-03 at 3:42 a.m.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle: A non-UT subject was found "leaning" through a broken out left side window of a parked 1996 Toyota 2-door that belongs to a male UT student. The subject claimed the vehicle belonged to his wife and he was there to "get it." The subject had used a rock, which was found on the vehicle's left front floorboard, as a substitute key to get into the vehicle. The subject was found in possession of a credit card that belonged to a female UT student. The credit card had been stolen from a purse that had been left in a "downtown cab" several hours earlier. The subject was also in possession of another subject's checkbook. Repair cost: $150.00.

Occurred on 6-5-03 at 8:20 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in a 3rd floor area that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
