Occurred on 6-6-03 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Theft: A gray backpack containing a Dell Inspiron laptop computer, a book titled "Reliability" and a passport from Italy was stolen from an unsecured 6th floor office while it was left under a desk. Loss value: $1,775.00.

Criminal Trespass / Resisting Arrest / Escape: A non-UT subject was found in a 4th floor video-editing laboratory. The subject has previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning. A UT police officer told the subject he was under arrest and gave him directions. The subject did not follow the directions and began to run from the room. A second UT police officer attempted to grab the subject when the subject struck that officer in the hand. Officers chased the subject for several blocks before they lost sight of him in the west campus area. The subject is described as a black male, 27 years old, 5'11" tall, 165 pounds and bald.

Occurred on 6-6-03 at 11:45 p.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found face down by the dumpsters on the west side of the building. The subject was "passed out" while holding a can of beer. The subject was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the south porch of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
