Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 7-10-03 at 5:30 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a first floor area that is reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 7-9-03 between 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Theft: Brown khaki Old Navy cargo pants were stolen from a locker that was located in a 2nd floor men's locker room. The owner thought he had secured the locker but when he returned, the locker was found open. Approximately two hours, later the pants were turned into the building's lost and found by custodial staff. A pair of black Bolle sunglasses, a Texas driver's license, a bank debit card and a credit card had been stolen from the pants. Loss value: $70.00.

L. Theo Bellmont Hall, 2109 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 7-9-03 at 5:45 p.m. and 7-10-03 at 9:15 a.m.

Criminal Mischief / Theft: A staff member found a 3rd floor office door open. Inside the office, a photo had been "ripped" from a wall and profane language had been written on a sign-out board. Letters from the sign-out board had been broken off and thrown down the hallway. A softball that was displayed in a plastic case which had been signed by the 2003 UT team had been stolen. A red and black ABC sports banner, a yellow and blue CBS sports banner, a plastic Big XII clock and a 2002 football media guide book were also stolen. Loss value: $75.00.

L. Theo Bellmont Hall, 2109 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 7-10-03 at 7:20 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a third floor men's locker room that was reserved for faculty, staff and Recreational Sports members. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 7-8-03 between 2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Theft: A blue and silver CD player (no other description) along with $17.00 cash were stolen from a secured locker that was located in a first floor men's locker room. The owner had locked the locker with a key and then put the key on top of the locker. When the owner returned, he found the key missing and the locker locked. Loss value: $57.00.

Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street

Occurred on 7-10-03 at 10:35 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the second floor in an area that was reserved for students, faculty and staff. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 7-10-03 at 8:20 a.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist An Outside Agency: A non-UT subject created a disturbance in a 2nd floor TV lounge when he touched a female subject (who he did not know) on the leg. When confronted by a third party, the subject "shook his fist at them," produced a small black pocketknife, opened the blade, held it close to his chest and made jabbing motions. Subject was found to have received a prior criminal trespass warning. Subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for littering.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred on 7-10-03 at 9:55 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found loitering and drinking alcohol on the east side of the building. Subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning. Subject was issued a citation by the Austin police for possession of an open container that contained an alcoholic beverage.
