Occurred on 7-16-03 at 4:30 p.m.
Criminal Trespass (2 counts): Two non-UT subjects were found in a 1st floor area that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.
Graduate School of Business, 100 West 21st Street
Occurred on 7-16-03 between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Theft: A 6-foot yellow fiberglass ladder with "zone 4" and a telephone number painted on the side was stolen from a 2nd floor hallway. Loss value: $45.00.
Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway
Occurred on 7-16-03 between 7:50 p.m. and 7:55 p.m.
Assault: After a basketball game, an unidentified subject from one team began to "talk trash" to a UT student who played for the opposing team as the student walked away. When the student turned around, the trash talker punched the student in the face then ran away. The offending trash talker is described as a black male, 5'5" tall, muscular build, corn-rolled hair style wearing a black dew-rag, gray t-shirt, blue shorts and may go by the name of "Omar" or "James."
Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway
Occurred on 7-16-03 between 2:50 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Theft: A backpack containing $36.00 cash was stolen from a locker that was secured with a combination lock in a 2nd floor locker room. The owner checked the bathroom stalls for his property and found two of the stall doors locked. The owner rechecked the locked stalls a few minutes later and found his backpack in one of the stalls. The cash was stolen from the backpack. Loss value: $36.00.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 3rd floor room that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 3rd floor room that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Occurred on 7-16-03 at 9:15 p.m.
Driving While Intoxicated / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): A UT student, who is under the age of 21, was stopped for driving a motor vehicle 32 miles per hour in a 15 mile per hour zone. The driver was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. A non-UT passenger, who was under the age of 21, was also found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

Occurred on 7-17-03 at 12:55 a.m.
Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A non-UT subject, who is under the age of 21, was stopped for driving a motor vehicle the wrong way on a one-way roadway. The subject was found to be in possession of 3 bottles of an alcoholic beverage.
