Occurred on 9-23-03 between 12:10 p.m. and 12:11 p.m.

Theft: A key ring containing three keys was stolen after it was left on a desk in an unsecured 5th floor office. Loss value: $4.50.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 9-26-03 between 2:00 a.m. and 3:26 a.m.

Harassing Communications: A non-UT male subject has placed several threatening telephone calls to a 5th floor resident's cellular and dormitory telephones.

Occurred between 9-11-03 and 9-25-03 at 11:30 a.m.

Theft: A purple and blue Eddie Bauer mountain bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a keyed cable lock to a bicycle rack on the west side of the building. Loss value: $100.00.

Robert A. Welch Hall, 105 East 24th Street

Occurred on 9-25-03 between 3:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Theft: A black leather purse containing $35.00, a red Nokia cellular telephone, a pair of clip-on sunglasses and various identification and credit cards was stolen from an unsecured 5th floor laboratory. Loss value: $40.00.

2000 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 9-25-03 between 11:00 p.m. and 11:40 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A parked and unattended red 2000 Pontiac Grand Am was struck on the left side mirror by an unidentified vehicle that left the scene without leaving notice. Repair cost: $200.00.

2300 Speedway

Occurred between 9-24-03 at 5:00 p.m. and 9-25-03 at 5:15 p.m.

Theft: A white Pacific bicycle was stolen while it was secured to a chain-link construction fence. The chain-link fence was cut to allow the bicycle and lock to be removed from the fence. Loss value: $100.00.

Sutton Hall, 210 West 21st Street

Occurred between 9-24-03 at 7:00 p.m. and 9-25-03 at 9:00 a.m.

Arson: An unidentified person used an unknown device to burn a paper class announcement that was posted inside an elevator. The flame left a burn mark on the elevator wall. Repair cost: $20.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 9-25-03 at 10:43 a.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found passing out advertisement flyers on the south side of the building, a violation of UT Regents' Rules and Regulations regarding solicitation. The subject was found to have three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for public intoxication. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

University Interscholastic League, 1701 Manor

Occurred on 9-26-03 at 12 midnight.

Failure to Identify: A non-UT subject was stopped on the north side of the building while riding one bicycle and pulling a second bicycle. The subject initially stated the bicycle he was pulling belonged to his brother but later advised he had found it by IH-35. The subject gave a false name. The subject was found to be in possession of a female UT student's credit card that the subject stated he found on the ground. At this time, there have been no theft reports made concerning the credit card or the bicycle.
