Leaving the Scene Collision: A witness observed a white 1996 Infiniti 4-door strike the left rear bumper of a parked 1993 Jeep Cherokee then leave the scene without leaving notice. Repair cost: $1,500.00.
Engineering-Science Building, 2501 Speedway
Occurred between 10-2-03 at 9:30 p.m. and 10-7-03 at 10:00 p.m.
Burglary of Coin Operated Machine: An unknown device was used to pry the door off of two coin operated machines located inside a 1st floor women's restroom. $8.25 worth of product was stolen from the machines. $8.25 cash was stolen from the machines. Loss value: $16.50. Repair cost: $20.00.
Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway
Occurred between 10-2-03 at 12 noon and 10-5-03 at 12 noon.
Theft: A silver Mongoose Element bicycle was stolen while it was secured to a bicycle rack on the northwest side of the building with a keyed cable lock. Loss value: $75.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street
Occurred between 10-7-03 at 8:00 p.m. and 10-8-03 at 12:52 a.m.
Harassing Communication: An unidentified male caller has placed several lewd telephone calls to a 3rd floor resident's cellular telephone.
Parking Lot 231, 10100 Burnet Road
Occurred on 10-7-03 between 9:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.
Leaving the Scene Collision: The right front quarter panel of a parked tan 2002 Pontiac Grand Am 2-door was struck by an unidentified vehicle that left the scene without leaving notice. Repair cost: $2,000.00.
Hal C. Weaver Power Plant Annex, 301 East 24th Street
Occurred between 10-3-03 at 9:30 a.m. and 10-7-03 at 9:00 a.m.
Theft: A total of 700 feet of half-inch copper cable was stolen from two, 3-foot wooden spools that were stored in the northeast corner of an unsecured 1st floor workroom. Loss value: $1,200.00.
Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue
Occurred on 10-8-03 at 4:00 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: An 8-inch piece of concrete was used to break out a 1st floor dormitory room window. Repair cost: $100.00.
Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton
Occurred on 10-7-03 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Criminal Mischief: Pink, yellow and blue chalk were used to write words on an exterior wall located on the north side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.
200 East 21st Street
Occurred on 10-6-03 between 1:00 a.m. and 12 noon.
Theft: A blue and silver Magna bicycle with Longhorn stickers on the handlebars and seat, was stolen while it was secured to a bicycle rack with keyed cable lock. Loss value: $100.00.
