Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall, 301 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 10-12-03 between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Theft: A black canvas laptop computer case containing a black IBM model 93H laptop computer was stolen while it was left on the floor inside an unsecured 9th floor office. Five students share the office. The door to the office was found propped open when the computer was discovered stolen. Loss value: $1,000.00.

F. Loren Winship Drama Building, 300 East 23rd Street

Discovered on 10-12-03 at 11:28 p.m.

Graffiti: A silver permanent gel pen was used to draw patterns on the lid of an exterior trashcan located on the east side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.

Littlefield Home, 302 West 24th Street

Occurred on 10-10-03 at 4:25 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: Two non-UT subjects were found "setting up a campsite" on the east side of the building. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warning citations.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred between 10-6-03 and 10-9-03 at 11:30 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The back sliding glass window was broken out of a blue 1995 Mazda pick-up truck. Property inside the vehicle was disarranged. No items were taken from the vehicle. Repair cost: $125.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred between 10-4-03 and 10-10-03 at 2:50 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unknown device was used to break the left side window of an orange Jeep Wrangler while it was parked in the lot. Repair cost: $150.00.

Parking Lot 110, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred on 10-12-03 at 11:20 p.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found sleeping inside his parked vehicle. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for a traffic violation.

Roberts Hall Dormitory, 303 East 21st Street

Occurred between 10-9-03 at 6:00 p.m. and 10-10-03 at 9:00 a.m.

Theft: A maroon Next Power Climber bicycle was stolen while it was secured to a bicycle rack on the south side of the building with a Kevlar covered cable lock. Loss value: $100.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-12-03 at approximately 1:15 a.m.

Harassing Communication: A male UT student placed two lewd telephone calls to a female resident's cellular telephone.

Occurred between 10-9-03 at 7:00 p.m. and 10-10-03 at 8:30 a.m.

Theft: A gray Trek model 850 with custom front fork suspension was stolen while it was secured to a bicycle rack on the east side of the building with a cable combination lock. Loss value: $415.00.

2000 Speedway

Occurred on 10-10-03 at 2:02 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found soliciting gift certificates in violation of UT Regents' Rules and Regulations. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 10-11-03 at 8:45 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 2nd floor men's restroom after the posted building hours. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred on 10-11-03 at 5:10 p.m.

Possession of Alcohol by A Minor: A non-UT subject, who was under the age of 21, was found on the east side of the building while in possession of a plastic cup containing an alcoholic beverage. The subject initially attempted to hide the cup and then knocked the cup over while a police officer approached him.

500 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 10-12-03 at 3:50 a.m.

Assist Outside Agency (theft) / Consumption of Alcohol By a Minor (2 counts): Three UT students were observed pushing a "Petco" shopping cart down the street. The students attempted to flee the area prior to officers stopping them. Two of the students were under the age of 21 and showed evidence of the consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
