Assault: A male UT student approached a female UT student, who is a former acquaintance of his, by a 3rd floor classroom and grabbed her wrists causing injuries to both of her wrists. The female student had to use physical force to break from the male student's grasp.

Occurred on 10-25-03 at 3:00 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found in the plaza fountain while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
Colorado Street and 7th Street
Occurred on 10-26-03 at 2:10 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street
Occurred on 10-26-03 between 12:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subject entered an unsecured 4th floor dormitory room and poured water on the keyboard of an IBM Thinkpad laptop computer. Replacement cost: $1,700.00.
Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street
Occurred on 10-27-03 at 3:14 a.m.
Evading Arrest or Detention: While patrolling through the Parking Lot, a UT police officer heard an automobile security alarm activate. As the officer approached the area in a marked patrol vehicle, he observed a male subject hiding behind a parked vehicle. The subject fled on a bicycle as the officer changed directions and activated the patrol vehicle's emergency lights in an effort to stop the subject. The subject fled out of the Parking Lot, across two traffic medians and onto the entrance ramp of the north bound IH-35 upper deck where he was struck by a passing motor vehicle. After being drug by the vehicle for a short distance, the subject fled on foot and jumped from the entrance ramp down to the lower deck of IH-35 where he was apprehended by UT police officers. The subject was found to be in possession of several tools that are commonly used to burglarize automobiles. Austin EMS transported the subject to a local hospital for treatment.
San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street
Occurred on 10-10-24-03 at 9:10 p.m.
Suspicious Person: A UT student advised a Resident Assistant he observed a subject cutting a bicycle lock on the southwest side of the residence hall. At that time, no description was given. The student left the area while the Resident Assistant reported the activity to the police. The subject was not located. The witness described the subject as a white male, 26 to 30 years old, 5'11" tall, 180 pounds, bald, wearing a black t-shirt, blue pants and in possession of a pair of blue handled wire cutters.
