Discovered 01-02-04 at 3:30 a.m.

Graffiti: Black spray paint was used to paint a symbol and words in three areas on the south and the east exterior walls. Removal cost: $150.00.

Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall, 210 West 6th Street

Occurred on 12-28-03 at 2:18 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found "passed out" face down on the sidewalk with his feet in the street. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

600 Colorado

Occurred on 01-01-04 at 2:35 a.m.

Driving While Intoxicated: A silver 2000 Volkswagon 4-door driven by a non-UT subject was stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way roadway. The driver was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River

Occurred between 12-22-03 at 5:30 p.m. and 12-23-03 at 7:10 a.m.

Graffiti: Black and white spray paint was used to write words and draw symbols in 5 different locations on the exterior walls of the building. Removal cost: $175.00.

Frank Denius Fields, 2336 North IH-35

Occurred on 12-27-03 between 7:20 a.m. and 3:35 p.m.

Graffiti: Black and red spray paint were used to write letters and words on a retaining wall on the north side of the facility while white spray paint was used to write a word on a sign located on the northwest side of the building. Removal cost: $100.00.

Frank Denius Fields, 2336 North IH-35

Discovered on 12-28-03 at 12:25 a.m.

Graffiti: Yellow spray paint was used to write letters on a sign post located on the east side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.

Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building B, 2504-B Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 12-31-03 at 4:40 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found loitering under the north exterior stairwell. The subject had previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Music and Bates Recital Hall, 2405 Trinity

Occurred on 12-29-03 between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Theft: A black nylon purse containing a purple make-up bag, $1.00, a Sprint cellular telephone a key ring, a paycheck and a red wallet various identification and credit cards was stolen when it was left in an unsecured 5th floor women's restroom. Loss value: $80.00.

Parking Lot F-15, 2500 University

Occurred on 12-19-03 at 11:30 a.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A white 1993 Volvo station wagon was struck in the right front quarter panel while it was parked and unattended by a yellow rental moving van. The driver of the van surveyed the damage to the Volvo before leaving the scene without leaving notice. The driver was described as a male with a dark complexion in his early 20's, approximately 5'8" tall, 180 pounds and was wearing blue jeans, slip on swim shoes and a dark colored shirt. Repair cost: $1,500.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 12-19-03 at 11:45 a.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A UT Police Officer located a parked and unattended 1993 Honda Civic that had been reported stolen to the Austin Police Department.

San Antonio Garage, 2420 San Antonio

Occurred between 12-18-03 at 5:00 p.m. and 12-20-03 at 3:40 p.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write letters on an exterior door located on the north side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.

Trinity Garage, 1815 Trinity

Discovered on 12-24-03 at 10:20 a.m.

Graffiti: Black spray paint was used to paint a symbol on the west exterior wall. Removal cost: $100.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 12-21-03 between 2:00 a.m. and 12 noon.

Criminal Mischief: An unknown object was used to crack a glass windowpane located in an exterior door on the west side of the building. Repair cost: $150.00.

Occurred on 12-19-03 at 3:37 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a third floor area that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
