Occurred between 1-27-04 at 10:15 a.m. and 1-28-04 at 10:00 a.m.
Burglary of Coin Operated Machine: The access panel to a vending machine in a second floor women's restroom was damaged in an attempt to gain entry. The machine had been serviced and emptied of change earlier on 1-27-04. Repair cost: $35.00.
Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st
Occurred between 1-26-04 at 11:56 p.m. and 1-28-04 at 11:47 a.m.
Theft / Credit Card Abuse: A UT student discovered that her UT identification card was missing after she last used it at Jester City Limits on 1-26-04. She discovered that someone had made $22.30 in charges on various vending machines in San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 E. 21st and Jester Center. Loss value: $32.30.
Occurred on 1-28-04 at 11:30 a.m.
Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was observed stumbling near a busy street, acting disoriented, and physically trying to stop a pedestrian. The subject was found to be under the influence of alcohol to the point that he was a physical endangerment to himself. In addition to other police activities, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Theft: A UT student failed to return an "on-loan" D600 Dell Latitude laptop after the 24 hour checkout period. Loss value $2115.00.
University Teaching Center, 105 W. 21st Street
Occurred on 1-28-04 at 4:35 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject appeared to be handing out fliers on campus, which is against UT Regents Rules and Regulations concerning solicitation. The subject initially provided a false name. When his real name was given, it was discovered that the subject had a previous written criminal trespass warning.
