Occurred between 01-29-04 at 7:00 p.m. and 02-01-04 at 11:03 a.m.

Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine: An unknown device was used to pry open the door to a coin operated vending machine inside of a 2nd floor women's bathroom. Loss amount: $5.25. Repair cost: $10.00.

Gateway Apartments, 1600 West 6th Street

Occurred on 01-31-04 at 9:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found inside the fence of the apartment complex, an area reserved for residents and staff members. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 01-30-04 between 6:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unknown object was used to break a 6-inch circular hole in the right front window of a parked 1991 Honda Civic 4-door. Repair cost: $150.00.

Parlin Hall, #2 South Mall

Occurred on 02-01-04 at 8:40 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a basement level area that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject had previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 02-01-04 at 4:41 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject violated the computer use time limits for the public access computers by three and one-half hours. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

1900 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 01-30-04 at 8:20 p.m.

Driving While License Invalid: A non-UT subject was stopped for a driving a brown 1978 Chevrolet 4-door the wrong way on a one-way roadway. The subject was found to have a suspended driver's license.

2100 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 01-31-04 at 6:37 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found attempting to sell magazine subscriptions to a UT student; a violation of UT Regent's Rules and Regulations concerning solicitation. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 01-30-04 at 4:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 3rd floor room that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject had previously received a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Discovered on 02-01-04 at 10:45 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subject broke two light-bulbs in stairwell #2 on the second level. A Union Building employee located a suspect who told the employee he broke the light-bulbs because he was "angry with his friends." The subject left the building and fled north on Guadalupe. The subject was described as a white male, 6'2" tall, 180 pounds, "shaved blonde hair" with a 4" scar on the back of his head, wearing a tan jacket, blue shirt and blue jeans. Repair cost: $20.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Discovered on 02-02-04 at 12:50 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subject broke a leg off of a piano bench located inside an unsecured 3rd floor room. Repair cost: $40.00.

University of Texas Elementary School, 2200 East 6th Street

Discovered on 01-31-04.

Attempted Burglary: An unknown device was used to make pry marks on a wooden window frame located on the south side of one of the academic buildings. Repair cost: $50.00.

2600 Wichita

Occurred on 01-27-04 between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Theft: Two silver 14-inch hubcaps were stolen from a 1994 Mazda Protg while it was parked along the east curb. Loss value: $40.00.

Whitaker Fields, 51st Street and Guadalupe

Discovered on 02-01-04 at 12 noon.

Graffiti: Black and yellow paint was used to write words and draw symbols on the exterior wall of a storage shed. Removal cost: $50.00.
