Burdine Hall, 2505 University

Occurred on 2-9-04 between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Harassment: A non-UT subject placed several alarming and threatening telephone calls to a UT student's cellular telephone while the student was attending class in a first floor classroom.

Parking Lot 114, Leona and 21st Street

Occurred on 2-10-04 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A parked black 2003 Mazda Proteg was struck in the left front quarter panel by an unidentified vehicle that left the scene without leaving notice. The repair cost is not known at this time.

Sutton Hall, 210 West 21st Street

Occurred between 2-9-04 at 6:30 p.m. and 2-10-04 at 8:40 a.m.

Burglary: A black Dell Opti Plex GX270T computer was stolen from an unsecured 3rd floor office. A similar computer had been stolen from the same office "sometime before the Christmas break." A witness observed a subject leaving the area carrying what looked like a flat screen monitor in a plastic bag under his jacket. The subject was described as a white male, 20 to 30 years of age, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, thin build, short brown hair and wearing light colored pants and a light colored hat. Loss value: $1000.00.

T. S. Painter Hall, 103 West 24th Street

Occurred between 2-9-04 at 4:30 p.m. and 2-10-04 at 7:30 a.m.

Attempted Burglary: An unknown device was used to make indentions in a 3rd floor office doorframe near the door's locking mechanism. The repair cost is undetermined at this time.

T. S. Painter Hall, 103 West 24th Street

Occurred between 2-9-04 at 5:15 p.m. and 2-10-04 at 7:20 a.m.

Attempted Burglary: An unknown device was used to make indentions in two doorframes to a 4th floor laboratory near the doors' locking mechanisms. The repair cost is known at this time.

Varsity Center, 210 East 21st Street

Occurred on 12-2-03.

Theft: A non-UT subject used a check from a local credit union to purchase an Apple Macintosh Powerbook laptop computer. At that time, the subject did not have a valid account with the credit union. The subject was notified on several occasions of the debt owed and failed to make payment for the computer. Loss value: $2,025.00.
