McCombs School of Business, 2110 Speedway

Occurred on 02-3-04 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Theft: A plastic wallet containing a Kohl's gift card and various credit and identification cards was stolen from an unsecured 2nd floor women's restroom. Prior to canceling the credit cards, $180.00 worth of unauthorized charges were made on the credit cards at three different stores along Guadalupe Street. Loss value: $55.00.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred on 2-11-04 between 4:24 a.m. and 7:34 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The molding around the right front window to a parked green Nissan Sentra was pried away causing the window to break. No items were stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $150.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 2-11-04 between 4:24 a.m. and 7:35 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left window was broken out of a parked gray 1992 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. The dashboard radio housing was "severely" damaged and the stereo system was partially removed. Repair cost: $450.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 2-11-04 between 4:24 a.m. and 7:35 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The molding around the right front window of a parked gray Toyota Camry was pried away from the window causing the window to break. The dashboard radio housing was "moderately" damaged and the stereo system was partially removed. Repair cost: $350.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Discovered on 2-11-04 at 3:54 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The molding around the left rear window on a white Ford Explorer was pried away from the window causing the window to break. At this time, it is undetermined if any property was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $150.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred between 2-8-04 at 5:00 p.m. and 2-11-04 at 7:00 p.m.

Theft: A dark gray 1989 Chevrolet Suburban with rear end damage was stolen while it was parked and secured in the middle of the Parking Lot. The vehicle had cargo style rear doors that are duct taped closed, a 3" Longhorn sticker on one rear door and a 3" "UT" sticker on the other door. Loss value: $3,500.00.

1800 Red River Street

Occurred on 2-11-04 at 5:28 p.m.

Fail to Stop and Render Aid: A Blue Ford F-150 struck a Parking and Transportation employee in the arm while the employee was attempting to provide a jump start to a disabled vehicle in a traffic lane. The driver of the Ford pick-up truck left the scene without providing aid or driver information.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred between 12-7-04 and 2-11-04 at 9:00 a.m.

Theft: Several hand tools, including a socket set, an allen wrench set and a pair of wire cutters were stolen from a secured cabinet in a 3rd floor storage room. The cabinet was secured with a u-lock type lock. The cabinet could be accessed through an unsecured attached drawer. Loss value: $35.00.

Waggener Hall, 2210 Speedway

Occurred on 2-11-04 at 7:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency (2 counts): A non-UT subject was found in a 2nd level hallway after receiving written notification that he was banned from campus. The subject was also found to have two outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for traffic violations.
