Ashbell Smith Hall, 201 West 7th

Occurred on 2-22-04 at 12:49 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A non-UT subject was found bleeding from a 1" cut on the back of his head on the north side of the building. During questioning, it was determined that the subject was intoxicated and under the age of 21. In addition to other police action taken, the subject was taken to a local hospital by EMS.

Brackenridge Hall Dormitory, 207 East 21st

Occurred on 2-20-04 at 6:00 p.m.

Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Two UT students were found in a second floor dorm room in possession of 0.3 ounces of marijuana and a glass pipe.

Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall, 210 West 6th

Occurred on 2-21-04 at 4:23 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in the plaza water fountain. The subject stated that he was "retrieving his change that he threw in earlier". The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 2-21-04 at 12:35 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist outside agency: A non-UT subject, who was previously issued a criminal trespass warning, was found on the third floor basketball courts. The subject was also found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st

Occurred on 2-22-04 at 11:21 p.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found in a 4th floor dorm room under the influence of alcohol to the point that she needed to be transported by EMS to a local hospital for alcohol poisoning.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st

Occurred on 2-20-04 at 7:50 p.m.

Theft: A UT student was found carrying a plastic Coca-Cola menu sign that he had stolen from the second level dining area. Recovery value: $45.00.

Littlefield Dormitory, 201 West Dean Keeton

Occurred on 2-21-04 at 11:42 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping under the north entrance stairwell. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 70, 2000 Robert Dedman Drive

Occurred on 2-20-04 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left front window was broken out of a red 1997 Mazda Proteg while the car was parked in the south side of the lot. The dashboard was damaged and a Jensen AM/ FM/ CD player was stolen from the car. Repair cost: $300.00. Loss value: $90.00.

Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st

Occurred on 12-12-03 at 12:00 p.m. Reported on 2-20-04 at 5:30 p.m.

Credit Card Abuse: A credit card belonging to a UT student was used without that student's permission to make charges amounting to $37.00. One of the charges was made at the Perry-Castañeda Library.

Simkins Hall Dormitory, 2501 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 2-21-04 at 11:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was seen loitering on the west side of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Discovered on 2-21-04 at 9:15 a.m.

Graffiti: A sharp object was used to etch 3" high words into the stall door of a third floor restroom. Repair cost: $75.00.

University of Texas Elementary School, 2200 East 6th Street

Occurred on 2-21-04 at 5:15 p.m.

Consumption of Alcohol Near Schools: A non-UT subject was found with an open container of beer on the east side of the school Parking Lot.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 2-21-04 at 4:25 a.m.

Graffiti: White paint was used to write 3" high words on the support columns on the west side of the garage. Repair cost: $50.00.

1900 Brazos

Occurred on 2-21-04 at 10:15 p.m.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (3 counts) / Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: A gray 2001 Jeep Cherokee made an illegal left turn at an intersection that was posted "Right turn only". During the traffic stop, it was determined that the driver and 3 passengers were under the age of 21 and had consumed alcohol earlier in the evening. Six cans of beer, a glass pipe with marijuana residue, and a small medicine container with 3 grams of marijuana were found in the vehicle.

1800 Red River

Occurred on 2-22-04 at 3:20 p.m.

Assault-Family Violence: A non-UT subject was seen grabbing a non-UT female acquaintance, and had previously been seen pushing the second subject to the ground.

2000 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 2-21-04 at 10:00 p.m. and 2-22-04 at 2:30 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A 2003 Blue Ford Explorer was struck in the right rear quarter panel while it legally was parked and unattended. The second vehicle transferred white paint to the first vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle left the scene without leaving notice. Repair cost: Unknown at this time.

2600 Whitis Avenue

Occurred between 2-20-04 at 8:30 p.m. and 2-21-04 at 3:45 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A silver 1999 Dodge Neon was struck in the left front quarter panel by a second vehicle, which transferred red paint to the Neon. The driver of the second vehicle left the scene without leaving notice. Estimated damage: $500.00.
