Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall, 210 West 6th

Occurred on 2-24-04 at 9:45 p.m.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol / Assist Outside Agency: Five non-UT subjects were seen walking across the plaza. One of the subjects, who was later found to be under the age of 21, was seen with a bottle of beer. During questioning, another of the subjects was found to have 10 outstanding outside agency arrest warrants.

Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall, 210 West 6th

Occurred on 2-25-04 at 12:20 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): Two non-UT subjects were seen performing a bodily function in the alley on the north side of the building. It was determined that both subjects were under the age of 21.

J.J. Pickle Research Campus, 10100 Burnet Road

Occurred between 2-19-04 at 4:00 p.m. and 2-23-04 at 8:00 a.m. Reported on 2-24-04 at 10:00 a.m.

Theft: A GE Spectra RMS 400 amp electrical breaker switch was stolen from a locked 2nd floor mechanical room in the MICROELECTRONICS and ENGINEERING RESEARCH BUILDING (MER). The switch is only usable for the type of electrical system in the building. Loss value: $3600.00.

Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 2-24-04 at 4:45 p.m.

Suspicious Activity / Criminal Trespass: A UT student, who was previously banned from Kinsolving Dormitory, was reported as being seen again in the building by an RA. The subject fled the building when recognized by the RA. UTPD found the subject by Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st. During questioning, it was determined that the subject was the suspicious person in the Student Services Building trying to get a lab coat last week. The subject was given a verbal criminal trespass warning.

Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 2-24-04 at 8:40 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A UT student who was previously banned and given a verbal criminal trespass warning, was found in the first floor lobby. (See previous report).

Student Services Building, 100 West Dean Keeton

Occurred on 2-24-04 between 8:35 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Harassment: An unknown subject repeatedly made alarming and annoying telephone calls to a 2nd floor office. The voice was described as a "young Asian male, possibly with a speech impediment". The *57 feature was used to trap the callers telephone number.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 2-24-04 at 3:14 p.m.

Suspicious Activity: A non-UT subject was seen yelling at students on the third floor of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 2-25-04 at 12:10 a.m.

Graffiti: White paint was used to write letters 6" high on an east side window. Removal cost: $20.00.

Whitaker Fields, 51st Street and Guadalupe

Occurred on 2-24-04 at 11:15 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: A chair was left in the Parking Lot and set on fire. The chair did not damage any UT property.

1900 Guadalupe

Occurred on 2-19-04 or 2-20-04 "around lunch time".

Suspicious Activity: An unknown subject pulled up next to a UT subject at the intersection, and offered to sell the UT subject stereo equipment, which the UT subject declined. The subject did not report the activity until he saw a similar scam on Campus Watch dated 2-24-04.
