Battle Hall, #1 West Mall

Occurred on 4-4-04 at 3:42 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Public Intoxication: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found "passed out" by the shrubs on the north side of the building. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Biology Laboratories, 205 West 24th Street

Occurred between 3-30-04 and 4-1-04 at 7:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unknown object damaged the locking pins when it was forced into a lock used to secure a storage freezer located inside a first floor laboratory. Repair cost: $50.00.

Brazos Garage, 210 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 4-3-04 between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: An air conditioning control panel was stolen out of an unsecured 1998 GMC Yukon while it was parked on the lower level of the garage. Loss value: $200.00.

Clark Field, 1900 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 4-4-04 at 4:00 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was reported harassing subjects on the Clark Field track. The subject was found to have inhaled the fumes from an aerosol paint can to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Claudia Taylor Johnson Hall, 210 West 6th Street

Occurred on 4-4-04 at 12:30 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found exhibiting an uncontrollable emotion state (crying) while sitting in the plaza area. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself.

Disch-Falk Field, 1300 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Discovered on 4-5-04 at midnight.

Graffiti: Silver paint was used to draw a line through the word "Police" on the "Police Help" callbox located on the west side of the stadium. Repair cost: $50.00.

Goldsmith Hall, #5 West Mall

Occurred on 4-1-04 between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Theft: A lavender colored leather Kenneth Cole purse containing a $500.00 check and various credit and identification cards was stolen from a tote bag in an unsecured 3rd floor workroom. The check was cashed before it could be cancelled. Loss value: $10.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 4-3-04 at 10:15 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in the lobby of the dormitory looking at names in the UT directory one name at a time. The subject stated he was looking for someone he knew, but did not know her name. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium, 707 Clyde Littlefield

Occurred on 4-3-04 at 2:45 p.m.

Forgery: Two counterfeit $20.00 bills and two counterfeit $100.00 bills were used to purchase products at the east concession stand and the Longhorn Limited stand located in the northwest corner of the stadium during the Texas Relays Track and Field Meet.

Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium, 707 Clyde Littlefield

Reported on 4-3-04 at 2:00 p.m.

Forgery: An unidentified subject sold several counterfeit entry tickets for the Texas Relays Track and Field Meet. The subject was described as a black male, bald, with tattoos on his right shoulder and was wearing a red and white shirt and had a camera attached to a strap around his neck.

Occurred on 4-3-04 1:40 p.m.

Disorderly Conduct - Fighting in a Public Place: Three non-UT subjects were found fighting under the east grand stands during the Texas Relays Track and Field Meet.

Parking Lot F-17, 2600 University

Occurred on 4-2-04 at 8:58 p.m.

Assault: While walking through the Parking Lot and talking on a cellular telephone, a UT student was struck in the back of the head with an unknown object. The student turned around to witness a subject running away from her in a northbound direction. The subject was described as a male with a "dark complexion" in his 20's, 5'6" tall, "stocky build," with short dark colored hair wearing a royal blue shirt, blue shorts, white tennis shoes and white socks.

Physical Plant 7, GAS PUMPS, 1300 Manor

Occurred on 4-4-04 at 1:30 a.m.

Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found by a disabled vehicle near the gas pumps, an area reserved for faculty and staff. The subject had three outstanding outside agency arrest warrants for traffic violations and failure to identify.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred between 4-4-04 at 5:15 a.m. and 4-4-04 at 11:15 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: A 2.5' by 4' marble tabletop was broken into two pieces. Loss value: $400.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred on 4-3-04 at 5:35 p.m.

Theft: An unidentified subject "ran up to" a UT student who was seated at the benches on the north side of the building and stole the subject's brown leather purse that was on the ground next to the bench. The purse contained $2.00, a Samsung M400 cellular telephone, a key ring with two keys and various credit and identification cards. The subject was described as a black male subject approximately 5'11" tall, thin build, short black hair, wearing a blue LA Clippers basketball jersey with the name "Odom" and the number "7" on the back and dark colored shorts. The subject was last seen running westbound. Loss value: $90.00.

Santa Rita No. 1, 1900 Trinity

Occurred on 4-3-04 at 6:20 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found taking pictures of female pedestrians from behind without their permission. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

1900 Speedway

Occurred on 4-2-04 at 8:15 p.m.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: A UT student and a non-UT subject were found in a parked black 2002 Ford Explorer while in possession of a glass pipe that contained burned marijuana residue.

Tower Manor, 1908 University Drive

Occurred on 4-2-04 at 7:26 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a sidewalk on the southwest side of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred between 4-2-04 at 11:45 p.m. and 4-3-04 at 12:45 a.m.

Theft: A purse was stolen from the floor by the west wall of the 3rd floor ballroom while the owner helped to clean the room after a concert. The purse was later found by the north entrance to the ballroom. A Samsung camera was stolen from the purse. Loss value: $125.00.

University of Texas Elementary School, 2200 East 6th Street

Occurred on 4-4-04 at 3:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass (2 counts): Two non-UT subjects were found on the east side of the property while in possession of an alcoholic beverage. Both subjects were issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Discovered on 4-2-04 at 3:56 p.m.

Graffiti: White and green paint were used to write words and draw symbols on the east exterior wall of the building. Removal cost: $150.00.

300 West 22nd Street

Occurred on 4-4-04 between 2:00 p.m. and midnight.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A parked 2002 Lexus 4-door was struck in the left front quarter panel by an unidentified vehicle that left the scene without leaving notice. Repair cost: $1,000.00.
