Jesse H. Jones Communication Center, Building A, 2504-A Whitis Avenue

Discovered on 4-12-04 at 1:05 a.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write letters on the interior wall of elevator #2. Removal cost: $40.00.

Mary E. Gearing Hall, 200 West 24th Street

Occurred between 4-9-04 at 11:00 p.m. and 4-11-04 at 1:30 p.m.

Theft: A Newman external hard drive and an Iomega external hard drive were stolen from a secured 3rd floor office. Loss value: $100.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 4-10-04 at 4:00 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found stumbling while walking in the Parking Lot. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 4-10-04 at 10:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Resisting Arrest: A non-UT subject refused to leave the library at closing time and laid down on a couch in the lobby. The subject had previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning. The subject had to be physically restrained as she began to pull from and kick at officers.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway

Discovered on 4-12-04 at 2:25 a.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write a word on an interior wall of elevator #2. Removal cost: $40.00.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Discovered on 4-9-04 at 10:30 a.m.

Graffiti: A black marker was used to write words on a wall in a second floor men's restroom. Removal cost: $40.00.

University of Texas Elementary School, 2200 East 6th Street

Occurred on 4-9-04 at 3:40 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the north side of the property. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Whitaker Fields, 51st Street and Guadalupe

Occurred on 4-9-04 between 2:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The right front window was broken out of a gray 1991 Honda Civic 4-door while the vehicle was parked near the entrance to the tennis court pavilion. A gray cloth briefcase containing a checkbook, a credit card, prescription glasses and eye drops was stolen from the front passenger seat of the vehicle. An unidentified subject described as a Hispanic male with a thin build wearing a white t-shirt attempted to use the stolen credit card to purchase beer at a convenience store on east 7th street within hours of the burglary. Repair cost: $150.00. Loss value: $110.00.

Wooldridge Hall, 600 West 24th Street

Discovered on 4-10-04 at 4:45 a.m.

Graffiti: A silver paint pen was used to write words on the metal frame to the exterior stairwell located on the north side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.
