Discovered on 4-26-04 at 12:54 a.m.

Graffiti: Yellow spray paint was used to write words at a bus stop. Removal cost: $60.00.

Calhoun Hall, #4 South Mall

Occurred on 4-25-04 at 5:30 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was seen posting fliers in a building that was closed to the public. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

McCombs School of Business, 2100 Speedway

Occurred between 4-19-04 at 2:00 p.m. and 4-23-04 at 2:15 p.m.

Theft: A Dell Latitude C600 laptop computer and docking station were stolen from a secured 1st floor office. Loss value: $500.00.

McCombs School of Business, 2100 Speedway

Occurred between 4-22-04 at 5 p.m. and 4-23-04 at 1:30 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: A 12 foot long 4 foot wide chalkboard was pulled from the wall in a 4th floor classroom. Repair cost $100.00.

E. William Doty Fine Arts Building, 2301 Trinity

Discovered on 4-25-04 at 12:50 a.m.

Graffiti: White paint was used to write words on the west side of the building. Removal cost: $100.00.

Frank C. Erwin Special Events Center, 1701 Red River

Occurred on 4-23-04 at 5:00 p.m.

Disturbance: Two UT staff members were engaged in a verbal altercation over time cards in a 1st floor office.

Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 4-23-04 at 7:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was reported pulling on occupied stall doors in a 1st floor men's restroom. During questioning, the non-UT subject stated he had come from a scheduled meeting on campus that ended 2 hours earlier, but could not remember who he had met or where the meeting was held. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Gregory Gymnasium, 2101 Speedway

Occurred on 4-24-04 at 3:15 p.m.

Disturbance: A UT student and a UT faculty member had a verbal altercation over the use of a 1st floor bench.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred on 4-24-04 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Theft: A black vinyl bag containing a debit card, a drivers license, $15.00 in cash, 2 t-shirts, and a Hewlett-Packard digital camera was stolen while it was left unattended in an unsecured 2nd floor room. Loss value: $75.00.

Manor Garage, 2017 Robert Dedman Drive

Discovered on 4-25-04 at 3:00 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unknown object was used to damage the wooden access control arm on the north side gate of the parking garage. Repair cost: $100.00.

Moore-Hill Dormitory, 204 East 21st

Discovered on 4-23-04 at 3:00 a.m., Reported on 4-23-04 at 6:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unknown object was used to break a 5 foot by 2 foot mirror in a 2nd floor men's restroom. Repair cost: $10.00.

J.J. Pickle Research Campus, 10100 Burnet Road

Occurred on 4-25-04 at 7:00 p.m.

Unauthorized Subject: A UT student, who did not have after-hours authorization, drove past the guard into a restricted area. The subject gave conflicting stories, then stated to UTPD officers that they "went out there to see the wildflowers". In addition to other police action taken, the subject was referred to the Dean of Students.

Whitaker Fields, 51st Street and Guadalupe

Occurred on 4-23-04 between 6:55 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Burglary of Vehicle: The front passenger side window was broken out on a 2001 green Ford Explorer that was parked on the west side of the lot. A black purse containing credit cards and a U.S. resident card was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $100.00. Loss value: $10.00.

2400 University

Occurred between 4-21-04 at 7:45 p.m. and 4-22-04 at 6:00 p.m.

Theft: An orange Parking and Transportation "boot" used to disable vehicles with extensive parking tickets was stolen when it was attached to a blue 1996 Ford pickup. Loss value: $485.00.
