Jesse H. Jones Communication Center (Service Drive), 2504 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 4-29-04 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A parked black 1996 Honda Accord 4-door was struck in the front bumper by an unknown vehicle that left the scene without leaving notice. Repair cost: $3,000.00.

Kinsolving Dormitory, 2605 Whitis Avenue

Occurred between 4-29-04 at 11:50 p.m. and 4-30-04 at 12:20 a.m.

Harassment: An unidentified caller placed 20 annoying telephone calls to 4th floor dormitory room. The caller did not speak during any of the telephone calls. The resident used the star 57 (*57) feature of her dormitory room telephone to trap the telephone number of the telephone that was used to place the telephone calls.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 4-29-04 between 3:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The rear driver's side window was broken out of a parked 2001 Ford pick-up truck. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo system was stolen from the vehicle. Repair cost: $200.00. Loss value: $175.00.

Occurred on 4-29-04 between 3:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The driver's side window was broken out of a parked 1994 Jeep Cherokee. An unknown brand stereo was stolen from the dashboard. Repair cost: $150.00. Loss value: Undetermined at this time.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 4-29-04 between 3:20 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle: The left rear opera window was broken out of a parked 1996 Toyota 4-Runner. An unknown brand stereo was stolen from the vehicle. A witness advised he observed a Hispanic male, approximately 5'9" tall with short hair in a Toyota 4-Runner while the 4-Runner's alarm system was actively sounding. The male subject exited the 4-Runner and walked over to a near-by blue or green older model Jeep Cherokee with its hood up. The subject closed the hood and got into the Jeep that was driven off by a second Hispanic male subject who was waiting with the engine running. Repair cost: $125.00. Loss value: Undetermined at this time.

Parking Lot 113, 2200 Comal Street

Occurred on 4-29-04 between 8:15 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: The driver's side window was broken out of a parked 2003 Nissan 2-door. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. There was no evidence of an attempted theft. Repair cost: $150.00.

2000 University

Occurred on 4-30-04 at 12:10 a.m.

Driving While Intoxicated / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found next to a Chevrolet sport utility vehicle with two flat tires on the left side of the vehicle. The student advised he had struck a curb while attempting to make a u-turn. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.
