Credit Card Abuse: An unknown subject used a UT staff member's credit card number to make an unauthorized charge on an internet auction site.

Geology Building, #10 East Mall

Occurred between 5-2-04 at 3:40 p.m. and 5-3-04 at 10:40 a.m.

Burglary: A Dell Latitude C610 laptop computer was stolen from a 5th floor office. Several teaching assistants share the office. The office door is kept closed and locked when the office is not occupied. Loss value: $1,815.00.

Pharmacy Building, 2409 University

Discovered on 5-3-04 at 1:00 p.m.

Graffiti: A white and an orange paint pen was used to write words on a portable chalk board that was stored in a 2nd floor stairwell. Removal cost: $30.00.

Russell A. Steindam Hall, #7 East Mall

Occurred on 5-3-04 at 8:28 p.m.

Burglary: A ceiling mounted Epson Multi-media 8200 color projector was stolen from a secured 2nd floor classroom. Loss value: Undetermined at this time.

Occurred on 5-3-04 between 8:00 a.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A witness observed a green sport utility vehicle strike a parked Acura Legend then leave the scene without leaving notice. The witness left a note containing the striking vehicle information on the struck vehicle. Repair cost: $500.00.

Occurred on 4-30-04 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Theft: A wallet containing $73.00 was stolen from a purse that was left on a desk in an unsecured 3rd floor office. The wallet was later found on the 1st floor. The $73.00 was stolen from the wallet. Loss value: $73.00.
