Brazos Garage, 200 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred between 5-13-04 at 5:00 p.m. and 5-17-04 at 7:30 a.m.

Theft: A 20" x 20" convex mirror was stolen from the northeast corner of the lower level of the garage. Loss value: $20.00.

Geology Building, #10 East Mall

Occurred on 5-17-04 at 3:15 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency: A suspicious person was reported "hanging around" a 2nd floor office. When police arrived and identified the non-UT subject, it was determined that the subject had an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant. In addition to other police action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st

Occurred from 5-10-04 to 5-16-04 at 10:30 p.m.

Harassment: A resident of an 8th floor dormitory room has been receiving several annoying and harassing telephone calls from an unknown caller, for a period of a week. On one of the calls, the resident used the *57 feature available on all UT telephones to "trap" the phone number of the caller.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st

Occurred between 5-10-04 and 5-17-04 at 2:30 p.m.

Theft: Four stainless steel soap dispensers were stolen from ground floor men's restroom. Loss value: $12.00.

2000 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 5-17-04 at 6:00 p.m. and 5-18-04 at 1:50 p.m.

Burglary of Auto: The passenger's side front window was broken out on a 2001 gold Ford Taurus, and a black leather briefcase containing personal papers was stolen. The briefcase resembled a laptop case and was lying on the front seat. Loss value: $10.00. Repair cost: $200.00.

Scarborough Property, 2612 Whitis Avenue

Discovered on 5-18-04 at 1:45 a.m.

Criminal Mischief: Three wooden fence boards measuring 6' x 5" were removed from the south side of the fence surrounding the property. Repair cost: $20.00.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred between 5-13-04 at 5:00 p.m. and 5-16-04 at 6:00 p.m.

Theft: An unknown brand of wall clock, measuring 12" in diameter and having a blue face and black hands with a silver outer ring, was stolen off the wall of a 4th floor study room. Loss value: $20.00.

University Outreach Center, 1301 East 7th

Occurred on 5-18-04 at 4:49 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the doorway of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
