Occurred between 4-7-04 at 8:00 a.m. and 4-21-04 at 5:00 p.m.
Theft: A Dell Optiplex GX270 desktop computer was stolen from a second floor workroom. Loss value: $1,100.00.
1700 Manor Road
Occurred on 6-1-04 at 1:50 p.m.
Suspicious Person: A UT staff member reported a subject using a crescent wrench to pry open tool boxes in the beds of several parked pick-up trucks in and around Parking Lot 111. When the subject observed the staff member, he fled the area in a two-tone blue Dodge van with a ladder attached to one of the back doors. The subject was described as a black male approximately 40 to 50 years old, "scruffy beard" and wearing blue jeans and work boots.
Physical Plant 3, 1716 Manor Road
Occurred between 5-26-04 at 5:00 p.m. and 6-1-04 at 1:15 p.m.
Theft: A silver 2001 Big Tex 4'x8' trailer containing a 2000 Lincoln 300D Classic welding machine, 600' of welding lead and a Knack tool box with various tools was stolen from the Parking Lot on the north side of the building. Loss value: $11,600.00.
San Antonio Garage, 2420 San Antonio
Occurred on 6-1-04 at 6:20 p.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in the northwest stairwell on the 2nd level. The subject had previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning for the same garage.
University of Texas Elementary School, 2200 East 6th Street
Occurred on 6-1-04 at 10:00 a.m.
Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on the north side of the property. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.
