1900 Brazos

Discovered on 7-2-04 at 5:15 a.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write a word on a stop sign located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Brazos and Martin Luther King. Removal cost: $45.00.

Colorado Apartments, 2501 Lake Austin Blvd.

Occurred on 7-2-04 at 6:44 a.m.

Theft: A witness used a nearby "Police Help" call box to report seeing an unidentified subject steal an unsecured silver Specialized Rockhopper bicycle from the patio of an apartment in building D. The subject was described as a Hispanic male in his late 30's to early 40's, wearing black pants, a black shirt and a baseball cap. Loss value: $600.00.

Colorado Building, 702 Colorado

Discovered on 7-1-04 at 8:20 p.m.

Graffiti: A black pen was used to write a word on the northeast side of the building. Removal cost: $75.00.

Harry Ransom Center, 300 West 21st Street

Discovered on 7-2-04 at 12:30 a.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write words on a parking control sign located on the north side of the building. Removal cost: $45.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 7-1-04 at 9:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 1st floor men's restroom that is reserved for UT faculty, staff and students. The subject was using the facilities to bathe. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Perry-Castañeda Library, 101 East 21st Street

Discovered on 7-1-04 at 11:15 p.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write words on a 6th floor wooden card catalog case. Removal cost: $45.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred on 7-2-04 at 2:20 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Public Intoxication / Possession of Fictitious License or Certificate (2 counts): A UT student, who was 17 years of age, was found in the bushes on the north side of the building. The student was emotional and "crying." The student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages at a nearby fraternity house to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself. The student was found to be in possession of two different fictitious identification cards that purported him to be over the age of 21.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 7-01-04 at 8:30 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 3rd floor room that is reserved for UT faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 6-30-04 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.

Theft: A gray Motorola cellular telephone was stolen from an unsecured 2nd floor women's restroom. Loss value: $100.00.

100 West 22nd Street

Occurred on 7-2-04 at 1:10 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Public Intoxication: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found having difficulty standing. The student stated he had consumed alcoholic beverages at a nearby fraternity house. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
