Occurred between 7-13-04 at 11:00 p.m. and 7-14-04 at 7:20 a.m.
Criminal Mischief: An unidentified subject used an unknown object to break both side mirrors to a black Ford Ranger pick-up truck while it was parked on the south side of the building. Repair cost: $100.00.
Centennial Park, 1620 Red River
Occurred on 7-14-04 at 10:45 p.m.
Criminal Trespass (Two Counts) / Unlawful Carrying Weapons: Two non-UT subjects were found "camping" under a footbridge. One of the subjects was found to be in possession of a "switchblade" knife that had a double edged blade of 5 and 1/2 inches. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.
Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35
Occurred on 7-14-04 at 4:05 p.m.
Welfare Concern: A non-UT subject was found sleeping in the bed of his parked pick-up truck. The subject was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages earlier in the day. The subject stated he was waiting to give his child a ride home from a baseball camp. A family member of the subject was contacted to provide the subject and his child a ride to their residence.
Union Building, #4 West Mall
Occurred on 7-14-04 at 8:21 p.m.
Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found on the 1st floor while officers were investigating a report of the smell of marijuana. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for a traffic violation.
Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe
Discovered on 7-14-04 at 3:30 p.m.
Graffiti: A red permanent marker was used to make illegible markings on a traffic control sign located in the covered parking area on the west side of the building. Removal cost: $50.00.
