McCombs School of Business, 2110 Speedway

Occurred on 9-9-04 at 8:18 a.m.

Suspicious Activity: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a couch in the 4th floor hallway. The subject had previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center, 1900 Red River Street

Occurred on 9-9-04 at 5:30 p.m.

Assault with Injury: A non-UT subject yelled, cursed and then grabbed a UT student's leg digging her nails into the student's skin leaving several swelling scratch marks. The two had been sharing a swim lane with a third swimmer in the pool.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 E. 21st

Occurred on 9-9-04 at 2:15 p.m.

Solicitation: Two unidentified female subjects tried to sell a UT student magazine subscriptions at his 6th floor dorm room, asking for the student's credit card number to process the order. The student refused to give out his credit card number. The subjects left the area before police arrived. The first subject is described as a white female approximately 5' 4'' tall, 120 pounds, about 20 years old wearing a pink and white shirt. The second subject is described as a Hispanic female 5' 3'' tall, 110 pounds with dark clothes.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 E. 21st

Occurred between 9-8-04 at 12:01 a.m. and 9-9-04 at 10:43 p.m.

Graffiti: A UT staff member reported a black pen had been used to draw several alarming graphics and words on a first floor bathroom stall. Removal Cost: $100.00.

Parking Lot 14, 200 West 22nd

Occurred on 9-9-04 at 9:46 p.m.

Suspicious Package: An unidentified subject reported a suspicious package had been shoved under the front of her vehicle. She removed the package and left it on the sidewalk, reported the incident to a UT staff member, then left the area. The police K-9 team responded and checked the package.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred between 9-10-04 at 1:01 a.m. and 9-10-04 at 1:51 a.m.

Attempted Burglary / Criminal Mischief: The front passenger window was broken and the stereo damaged while it was parked in the lot. Damage Estimate: $ 200.00.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred 9-9-04 at 5:27 p.m.

Suspicious Activity: A non-UT subject entered a 2nd floor lab carrying a fire extinguisher. When approached by the officer the subject stated he had just been given the extinguisher by his apartment manager and had not taken it to his apartment. The subject and his extinguisher were escorted from the area.

Robert Lee Moore Hall, 303 East 21st

Occurred 9-9-04 at 11:48 p.m.

Disturbance / Criminal Trespass: A UT staff supervisor reported three non-UT subjects were trying to contact one of his employees. The UT employee has been separated from one of the subjects for almost two years and did not want to meet with the subject. The supervisor intervened, calling police for assistance removing the subjects.

Townes Hall, 727 East Dean Keeton

Occurred before 9-9-04 at 12:30 p.m.

Graffiti: A yellow marker was used to deface a sign on the exterior of the building.
