Occurred on 9-15-04 at 8:55 p.m.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A non-UT subject, under the age of 21, was found while in possession of an alcoholic beverage.

Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 9-18-04 at 4:10 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Failure to Identify: A non-UT subject was found loitering in a 1st floor room that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject initially gave the police officer a fictitious name and date of birth. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 9-16-04 at 12:30 p.m.

Theft: A ticket for the Texas v. Rice football game was stolen when it was left on a table inside of the 1st floor cafeteria for "less than a minute." Loss value: $55.00.

Occurred on 9-17-04 at 7:30 p.m.

Harassment: An unidentified subject made an unwanted and threatening telephone call to a 2nd floor resident's dormitory room. The resident used the *57 feature on her dormitory telephone to trap and store the phone number of the caller.

2000 Jester Circle

Occurred on 9-17-04 at 9:12 p.m.

Leaving the Scene Collision: A witness reported a green Dodge Ram truck backed into a parked Plymouth 4-door. The driver of the pick-up truck surveyed the damaged to his truck before he left the scene without leaving notice.

Main Building, #1 South Mall

Occurred on 9-16-04 at 9:20 p.m.

Harassment: An unidentified subject placed a telephone call to a UT staff member's 2nd floor office and left an offensive message on the staff member's voice mail.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred on 9-17-04 at 1:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief / Failure to Identify / Criminal Trespass: A witness reported a female subject was letting the air out of the tires to a parked vehicle. A UT police officer located a subject that matched the description of the suspect. The subject initially provided a fictitious name. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Parking Lot 103, 2100 Comal Street

Occurred on 9-19-04 at 2:58 a.m.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle / Evading: An unidentified subject was found lying on the floorboard of a parked 1997 Toyota Corolla. The subject failed to comply with a UT police officer's orders and fled the area on foot. The subject was described as a white male, early 20's, 6' tall, 160 pounds, brown hair and wearing a multi-colored polo style shirt, blue shorts and a white tennis cap. The vehicle's left rear opera window had been broken out of the vehicle. Repair cost: $100.00.

Parking Lot 104, 1900 North IH-35

Occurred on 9-18-04 at 10:00 p.m.

Possession of Marijuana / Failure to Identify / Assist Outside Agency: Two non-UT subjects were found sitting inside a parked 1992 Chrysler 4-door while smoking a hand rolled marijuana cigarette. One of the subjects initially gave a UT police officer a fictitious name and date of birth. After providing a correct name and date of birth, the subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for a traffic violation.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred between 9-11-04 at 10:00 a.m. and 9-19-04 at 4:34 p.m.

Harassment: An unidentified subject placed several unwanted telephone calls to a resident's 4th floor dormitory room. The caller would repeatedly call and hang-up without speaking. The resident used the *57 feature of the dormitory telephone to trap and store the phone number of the caller.

T. U. Taylor Hall, #8 East Mall

Occurred on 9-18-04 at 3:00 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a couch in a 5th floor room. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 9-17-04 at 7:49 a.m.

Criminal Trespass (2 counts): Two non-UT subjects were found in a 3rd floor room that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.

Union Building, #4 West Mall

Occurred on 9-18-04 at 8:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass / Assist Outside Agency: A non-UT subject was found yelling at a patron of a 2nd floor restaurant. The subject had previously been issued a written criminal trespass warning. The subject was also found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for a traffic violation.

University Teaching Center, 105 West 21st Street

Occurred on 9-19-04 at 6:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on a couch in a 3rd floor hallway. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

24th Street and Speedway

Discovered on 9-19-04 at 7:50 a.m.

Graffiti: A black marker was used to write a word on the back of a stop sign located on the northeast corner of the intersection. Removal cost: $40.00.
