Blanton Dormitory, 2500 University

Occurred between 10-1-04 at 9:15 a.m. and 10-3-04 at 4:45 p.m.

Theft: A blue and yellow Dynacraft Magna bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the west side of the dormitory. Loss value: $100.00.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 10-2-04 at 2:50 p.m.

Disorderly Conduct - Fighting (2 counts): Two UT students were found in section 26 while engaged in a physical altercation concerning one of the student's desire to leave the stadium before the end of the Texas vs. Baylor football game.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred on 10-1-04 at 9:35 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was stopped while attempting to enter the stadium the night before the Texas vs. Baylor football game. The subject stated he was going to his "hotel room." The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Occurred on 10-2-04 at 11:45 a.m.

Improper Photography / Failure to Identify / Resisting Arrest: A UT student reported a non-UT subject used a camera to take a picture of her chest as she walked past the subject. The subject initially gave police officers a fictitious name and date of birth. The subject began to resist the police officers' attempt to arrest him by pulling from their grasp and keeping his hands under his body after he was placed on the ground.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found at gate 8 while in possession of a plastic binocular flask containing an alcoholic beverage.

Occurred on 10-2-04 at 12:30 p.m.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found at gate 25 while in possession of a metal flask containing an alcoholic beverage.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A non-UT subject, who was under the age of 21, was found in section 32 while in possession of a bottle containing an alcoholic beverage.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found at gate 32 while in possession of a plastic flask containing an alcoholic beverage.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found at gate 13 while in possession of an empty plastic flask and after having consumed an alcoholic beverage.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found while in possession of a plastic flask containing an alcoholic beverage.

Occurred on 10-2-04 at 11:29 a.m.

Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found entering the stadium while having two plastic flasks containing an alcoholic beverage stuffed into each boot.

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, 405 East 23rd Street

Occurred at various times.

Stadium Ejections: In addition to the above listed cases, four people were ejected from the stadium for disorderly conduct (language), three people were ejected from the stadium for passing UT student identification cards through the stadium gates to allow non-UT students into the stadium with discounted student tickets, and 27 people, who were over the age of 21, were ejected from the stadium for alcohol rule violations. Two of these had zip lock baggies containing an alcoholic beverage.

Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred between 9-28-04 at 5:00 p.m. and 10-2-04 at 6:30 p.m.

Theft: A black and silver Trek 4600 bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the north side of the dormitory. Loss value: $560.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-2-04 at 12:45 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 counts): Two 4th floor residents, both of whom were under the age of 21, were found on the 4th floor after having consumed alcoholic beverages.

L. Theo Bellmont Hall, 2109 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 9-25-04 at 11:00 p.m. and 10-2-04 at 8:00 a.m.

Theft: Two Motorola 2-way radios and a radio charger were stolen from an 8th floor office. Loss value: $105.00.

Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium, 707 Clyde Littlefield

Occurred on 10-2-04 at 6:45 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the track while the stadium was closed to the public. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Moore-Hill Dormitory, 214 East 21st Street

Occurred between 8-19-04 at 8:00 a.m. and 10-2-04 at 10:00 a.m.

Harassment: An unidentified subject has placed several unwanted and lewd telephone calls to a 2nd floor resident's dormitory room. The resident used the *57 feature on the university telephone system to trap the telephone number of the caller in a computer database.

O. Henry Hall, 601 Colorado

Occurred on 10-3-04 at 2:02 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found stumbling and falling on the north side of the building. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Parking Lot 25, 2500 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 10-3-04 at 4:30 p.m.

Suspicious Activity: A UT student observed a blue Mercury Cougar "cruising" through the lot. The driver of the vehicle then stopped, exited the vehicle and began walking the Parking Lot while peering into parked cars. When the driver noticed the UT student, he "jumped" back into the Mercury Cougar's passenger seat; forcing the passenger of the vehicle into the driver's seat. The vehicle drove away for a few minutes, returned to the Parking Lot and then backed into a parking space. The student left the lot to report the incident to the police. Officers were able to locate the parked and unoccupied vehicle. The initial driver of the vehicle was described as a white male, 6'1" tall, thin build, "ratty blonde hair," wearing a white tank top and dark colored pants. The passenger of the vehicle was described as a white female, blonde hair and wearing a beige top.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River

Occurred between 9-27-04 at 6:00 p.m. and 10-1-04 at 2:30 p.m.

Criminal Mischief: An unknown object was used to cause pry marks and dents in the door jams of the left front and left rear doors of a green Ford Taurus 4-door while the vehicle was parked in the north end of the Parking Lot. Repair cost: $1,000.00.

Parking Lot 80, 1900 Red River

Occurred on 10-1-04 at 4:00 p.m.

Criminal Trespass (2 counts): Two non-UT subjects were found placing advertising fliers on parked vehicles in violation of UT Regents' Rules and Regulations concerning solicitation. Both subjects were issued written criminal trespass warnings.

Performing Arts Center, 510 East 23rd Street

Occurred between 9-30-04 at 11:00 a.m. and 10-1-04 at 12 noon.

Harassment: A non-UT subject has placed several unwanted, alarming telephone calls to various employees of the Performing Arts Center in response to his believing he had won a guitar in a silent auction that was hosted by the Performing Arts Center.

2300 San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 10-3-04 at 9:20 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found sleeping on an exterior stairwell wall. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred between 9-30-04 at 4:00 p.m. and 10-1-04 at 9:00 a.m.

Theft: Two rubber stairwell slip resistant treads were removed from the stairs between level 1 and level 2 in stairwell #0402. Loss value: $200.00.

2600 Speedway

Discovered on 10-4-04 at 3:30 a.m.

Graffiti: A silver paint pen was used to write a word on a street light pole located on the east side of the roadway. Removal cost: $40.00.

Occurred on 10-1-04 at 6:43 p.m.

Suspicious Activity / Criminal Trespass: A UT police officer observed a non-UT subject carrying a Next bicycle with a u-lock secured to the rear tire and frame. The subject "covered a great distance" whenever the police officer was out of sight. The subject stated he was carrying the bicycle as he had lost the key. The subject could not provide a description of the bicycle he was carrying and stated he had purchased the bicycle from "a friend" whose name he could not remember. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

300 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-2-04 at 3:14 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (2 Counts): A black 2003 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle was stopped after the driver, who was a UT student, failed to yield right of way at an intersection. Two passengers of the vehicle, both of whom were UT students under the age of 21, were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.

400 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-3-04 at 3:07 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A non-UT subject was found "hiding" in bushes along Waller Creek. The subject had sustained several superficial cuts on his face and forearms from bushes along the creek bed. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.
