Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Building, 200 East Dean Keeton

Occurred on 10-7-04 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Theft: A blue and gray Trek 4300 bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the south side of the building. Loss value: $450.00.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 10-7-04 at 10:23 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found on the ground floor level after the building was closed for public use. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 10-8-04 at 6:55 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found "camping" on a bench located on the basement level of the building. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

23rd Street and San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred between 10-6-04 and 10-7-04.

Burglary: Sometime on 10-6-04 an unknown object was used to pry metal storage cabinet doors open. Two coffee syrup bottles were stolen from the storage cabinet. The owner repaired the doors on 10-6-04. Between 10-6-04 at 3:00 pm and 10-7-04 at 7:00 am the metal doors were pried open again. A black and yellow DeWalt portable light was stolen from the storage cabinet. Loss value: $60.00.

200 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-8-04 at 1:45 a.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor / Driving While Intoxicated: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was stopped for disregarding a stop sign while driving a white Ford F-150 pick-up truck. The student was found to have consumed an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated.

200 East 21st Street

Occurred on 10-8-04 at 2:00 a.m.

Public Intoxication: While UT police officers were working a Driving While Intoxicated case (see above), a bus driver for Capital Metro stopped his bus and reported an unconscious UT student lying across three seats on his bus. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself.
