Robert Lee Moore Hall, 2515 Speedway
Occurred on 10-25-04 between 5:10 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.
Theft: A yellow Kona Kula bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the southwest side of the building. Loss value: $1,200.00.
2000 Speedway
Occurred on 10-26-04 at 3:00 a.m.
Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found attempting to jump-start his vehicle in an effort to drive to his apartment. The student was found to have consumed an alcoholic beverage.
Student Services Building, 100 West Dean Keeton
Occurred on 10-25-04 between 9:55 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Theft: A homemade wallet made out of silver duct tape was stolen from a purse that was left on a chair in an unsecured 3rd floor office. The wallet contained $40.00 cash, and various credit and identification cards. Loss value: $40.00.
Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe
Occurred between 10-22-04 at 9:00 a.m. and 10-25-04 at 8:10 a.m.
Theft: An 8" tall copper letter "A" was stolen from the south exterior building name placard. Loss value: $200.00.
200 West 24th Street
Occurred on 10-25-04 at 11:05 a.m.
Driving While Intoxicated / Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle: A witness advised a UT police officer of a reckless driver in a blue Volvo 4-door who "nearly struck pedestrians in a crosswalk." The police officer located the vehicle and observed the vehicle drive over a curb prior to stopping. The driver was found to have consumed an alcoholic beverage to the point she was driving while intoxicated. An open glass bottle containing wine was found inside the vehicle.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 9 alarm calls, 1 collision, 4 suspicious activity calls and 1 unsecured door report between 10-25-04 and 10-26-04.
