Beauford H. Jester Center East, 203 East 21st Street

Occurred between 10-31-04 at 5:50 p.m. and 11-1-04 at 8:00 a.m.

Theft: A red and black Huffy Beach Cruiser bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the west side of the dormitory. Loss value: $100.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Discovered on 11-1-04 at 9:17 a.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write words and draw images on three different walls inside an unsecured 3rd floor lounge. Repair cost: $100.00.

San Jacinto Residence Hall, 309 East 21st Street

Occurred between 10-31-04 at 10:30 p.m. and 11-1-04 at 5:15 p.m.

Theft: A blue Schwinn Mesa bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the north side of the dormitory. Loss value: $330.00.

Walter Webb Hall, 2500 Guadalupe

Occurred between 11-1-04 at 11:30 p.m. and 11-2-04 at 6:20 a.m.

Graffiti: Gold paint, silver paint, blue chalk and yellow chalk were used to write words and numbers on the east and south exterior walls. Removal cost: $200.00.

2000 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 11-2-04 at 2:25 a.m.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor / Possession of More than One Valid Driver's License: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was stopped for driving a silver Jeep Wrangler more than twice the posted speed limit and driving in the oncoming traffic lane. The student was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages. In addition to the student's driver's license, the student was found to be in possession of a valid Texas Driver's License that was issued to another subject who was over the age of 21.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 11 alarm calls, 1 medical emergency call, 2 public assist calls, 5 suspicious activity calls and 3 unsecured door reports between 11-01-04 and 11-02-04.
