Occurred on 11-5-04 between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Theft: A black and red bicycle (make and model unknown) was stolen while it was secured with a chain lock to a bicycle rack located on the north side of the building. Loss value: unknown at this time.

Occurred on 11-6-04 at 6:25 p.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found in section 125 after having consumed alcoholic beverages.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found inside a men's restroom by section 3 while in possession of six cans of beer and a plastic flask containing an alcoholic beverage.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found at gate 1 while in possession of a metal flask containing an alcoholic beverage.

Public Intoxication: A UT student was found having difficulty walking and maintaining her balance. In an attempt to evade the officer, the subject attempted to strike the officer with her elbow, but did not have the coordination to make contact. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself and others.

Occurred on 11-6-04 at 7:30 p.m.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, stopped in section 21 after an officer observed the subject drop an empty plastic flask. The student was found to have already consumed an alcoholic beverage.

Occurred on 11-6-04 at 8:00 p.m.

Public Intoxication: A UT student was found using a hand rail and countertop in an effort to keep from falling down. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was reported as being "passed out" in section 32. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found staggering in section 32. The student was found to have consumed an alcoholic beverage.

Public Intoxication: A UT student, in section 25, was reported as "touching and kissing" female patrons without their consent. The subject was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was a physical endangerment to himself and others.

Criminal Trespass / Interference with Public Duties: Four UT students were in the process of being ejected by event staff personnel for disorderly conduct - language. Two of the four subjects left with little incident. One of the four students refused to leave and continually argued with the event staff supervisor. The subject refused to leave after a police officer ordered him to do so. While detaining that student, the fourth student interfered with the police officer's duties by repeatedly refusing to step away from the officers and the detained student.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, police officers ejected 51 people who were over the age of 21 and in possession of alcoholic beverages in the stadium, 19 people for passing student identification cards through the gates in an attempt to allow non-UT subjects into the stadium with student tickets, 4 people for disorderly conduct (language) and 2 people for possessing fictitious game tickets.

F. Loren Winship Drama Building, 300 East 23rd Street

Discovered on 11-8-04 at 1:35 a.m.

Graffiti: A black permanent marker was used to write a word on a Police Help callbox located on the south side of the building. Removal cost: $40.00.

Beauford H. Jester Center West, 201 East 21st Street

Occurred on 11-5-04 between 12 noon and 6:30 p.m.

Theft: A silver and blue Mongoose ERX bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located on the north side of the dormitory. Loss value: $100.00.

O. Henry Hall, 601 Colorado

Occurred on 11-6-04 at 2:40 a.m.

Public Intoxication: A UT student was found performing a bodily function while "squatting" with her pants down. The student had previously been observed staggering in a roadway. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 11-5-04 between 10:00 a.m. and 10:02 a.m.

Theft: A book was stolen from a shelf in an unsecured 1st floor men's restroom while the owner was in another portion of the restroom. Loss value: $50.00.

Occurred on 11-7-04 at 3:15 a.m.

Driving While Intoxicated / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (3 counts): A UT student was stopped for disregarding a stop sign while driving a silver Toyota pick-up truck. To avoid being struck by the Toyota pick-up truck, a pedestrian had to take evasive action. The student driver was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. The vehicle had three passengers, all of whom were UT students under the age of 21. All three passengers were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.

Occurred on 11-6-04 at 3:30 a.m.

Driving While Intoxicated / Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor (3 Counts): A UT student was stopped for driving a white 2000 Ford 4-door 35 MPH in a 15 MPH zone. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point he was driving while intoxicated. The vehicle had three passengers, all of whom were UT students who were under the age of 21. All three passengers were found to have consumed alcoholic beverages.

Occurred on 11-6-04 at 7:30 p.m.

Public Intoxication / Possession of a Fictitious Driver's License / Failure to Identify: A UT student, who was under the age of 21, was found staggering down the sidewalk. The student initially provided an officer a fictitious driver's license which indicated the subject was over the age of 21. The student also provided the police officer with a fictitious date of birth. The student was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point she was a physical endangerment to herself.

2000 Speedway

Occurred on 11-6-04 at 10:45 a.m.

Public Intoxication (2 counts) / Resisting Arrest: Two UT students were stopped after one of the students walked in the path of a marked patrol vehicle, "squared off" and advised the officer he wanted to fight with the officer. Both subjects were found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage to the point they were each a physical endangerment to themselves and others. The subject, who had expressed a desire to fight, continued to take an offensive stance toward the officer and used physical resistance as the officer attempted to place the subject in the patrol vehicle.

24th Street at San Jacinto Blvd.

Occurred on 11-8-04 at 3:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was stopped after driving a motorized vehicle on the West Mall. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 24 alarm calls, 2 collision reports, 12 public assist calls, 6 suspicious activity calls, 2 security surveys, 4 medical emergency calls and 6 unsecured door reports between 11-05-04 and 11-08-04.
