Battle Hall, #1 West Mall

Occurred on 11-10-04 at 3:50 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 1st floor men's restroom that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Blanton Dormitory, 2500 University

Occurred between 11-6-04 at 5:00 p.m. and 11-9-04 at 9:00 p.m.

Theft: A white Specialized Crossroads bicycle was stolen while it was secured with a cable lock to a bicycle rack located in the Blanton Quad. Loss value: $300.00.

Brazos Garage, 210 East Martin Luther King Blvd.

Occurred on 11-10-04 at 8:00 p.m.

Possession of Marijuana / Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Two UT students were found behind a retention wall in an area that had a strong odor of marijuana. One of the students was found to be in possession of an envelope containing a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe containing burned marijuana residue.

Garrison Hall, #3 East Mall

Occurred on 11-10-04 at 5:10 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found in a 1st floor men's restroom that is reserved for faculty, staff and students. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

Peter T. Flawn Academic Center, #2 West Mall

Occurred on 11-10-04 at 9:56 a.m.

Attempted Theft / Criminal Mischief / Assist Outside Agency / Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found attempting to take a library book out of the library without the library's permission. The book had damage to its front cover. The subject was found to have an outstanding outside agency arrest warrant for a parole violation. In addition to other law enforcement action taken, the subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

San Antonio Garage, 2420 San Antonio

Occurred on 11-10-04 at 3:40 p.m.

Criminal Trespass: A non-UT subject was found sleeping under the southeast exterior stairwell. The subject was issued a written criminal trespass warning.

2500 Whitis Avenue

Occurred on 11-10-04 at 5:40 p.m.

Assault: An unidentified subject approached a UT student and asked for directions to a Far West route bus stop. After the student provided directions, the subject began to mumble and stated "I think they're trying to give me a heart attack." The subject spat on the student's cheek and eye. The subject was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 years old, 5'7" tall, thin build, medium complexion, short dark hair, unshaven and wearing a medium blue shirt.

Noncriminal Calls: In addition to the above criminal cases, UTPD responded to 8 alarm calls, 3 public assist calls, 2 suspicious activity calls, 1 stuck elevator call, 1 medical emergency call, 1 found property and 1 welfare concern report between 11-10-04 and 11-11-04.
